All that's left is putting the fuel pump In and cleaning up the engine bay!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to tune my car until next week (tuner is out of town at Kozmic Motorsports.)

Does the crash bar go back in or no? Seems like you'd loose some front end rigidity not running one.

Just saw this, awesome build!

@apefactory. I believe it goes on. jay Hovah has his stock crash bar on his build. I have the same exact kit as him

New Twin Turbo build in progress: Another Gamma V3 Twin turbo install

Day 10:

Fuel pump in!! but will take out and switch to the cjm top hat before my tune. The stock top hat on the fuel assembly is trash.

I will see if she turns on without a tune. Crossing fingers!

To do list:
Refit stock crash bar and put back hood!

Fluids topped off.

Put testpipes back on. (Need some new gaskets so I held off on that.)

Update: just ordered the CJM top hat. The stock fuel top hat is pure trash and the plastic connectors to the metal rods snapped. I figured I will just upgrade anyways.

Oh I think by next Thursday or Friday. My car will get tuned hopefully! Super excited!!

Probably not, if you have an uprev license I can help you street tune the car so you can drive it at least. PM sent.

Nyght 06-22-2017 08:24 PM

@tonyhtx coming in clutch with the street tune. (Before I get dyno tuned)

So the car starts and I had it idle for about 10-15 minutes. No oil or coolant leaks noted. The car is idling a little funny but it never dies ? Hmmm

Car sounds awesome with my ark exhaust.

The plastic top hat on mine was in the act of breaking too. When I went to remove the rods the plastic broke off.

Good stuff this weekend, we fixed quite a bit of issues and I would say we got the car running 70-80% with perfect idle. I couldn't get timing to exactly where I wanted it but Nyght found some boost leaks after I had left so I'm blaming those. Hopefully he'll have it all buttoned up before his dyno tune and at the very least he can drive to the tuning shop instead of getting it towed!
