There is a lot more development would needed before going straight to a billet block. I’m sure there are ways to reinforce the block before going straight to billet.

Soho I leading the way into development. Less the. 3% of the community actually want to build a race car for big power. Most want big power and still keep the creature comforts. We simply don’t have the space to do both. Not saying 800-1200 is anything to laugh about. Getting the proper units in place to make that big power efficiently is another thing.

Also, Vivid does not deserve any business

Vivid is not they same company that it used to be. I have not used them for years, when I did they were very easy to work with. I bought my Fugi hood from them and they set it up so my brother could pick it up at the pier so I did have to pay for any import fees. I also went to their shop and they were very helpful. The sales guy even told me not to order a Stratus racing seat because they were having quality issues, so I ordered my Sparco seat and my racing harness through them.

You right about that

Wish the handful of VHR’s that run a motec m150 would speak up about it. There is currently 3 plug n play systems. 1 of which is fully functional and other 2 are in the beta stage, and 1 more that only has the Ecu no pnp.

So with basic numbers I was putting together, if you did buy a billet block, billet crank, piston rods cams, ditch the vvel go with HR heads etc… it would cost around 5-12k more then a soho long block depending on your goals. That’s if you stayed with Ecu tek and didn’t want to do anything with a stand-alone.

You can get anything, and anything done. All it takes is cubic dollars. Just look at Musk and Bozos. Both have fling dildo's.

Just fill the block with some concrete. Don’t even worry about draining the coolant.

No but seriously, they do that on some 2jz. Not sure how it affects cooling and it obviously adds some heft, but…

Already been tried. It didn't work. Headgaskets blew.
