Is there even one guy measuring his IAT's after the plenum?

Anyways...back on topic.

Haha I wonder that as well. Eric is still running no filter @575whp and only had a head gasket issue so far in 50k miles. Not sure how many of those miles were at that power level though, but the q50 guys are crazy :rofl2:

Yeah, he just did this about a year ago so he maybe put on 15K miles on a low mileage car = blown head gasket. Fun... And just wait till he finds out how much damage to an engine occures without a filter. :ugh2:

If that's the one I'm thinking of he was at 525whp with a filter for tracking it. Sounds like the same one to me anyhow.

Hey guys, Sorry I haven't been on to answer everyones questions. We are talking to a few well known tuners to put together our base maps. Our maps will be for 2 fuel types (91oct and 93oct). We can do an E85 tune but at that point your better off getting a custom tune. We can point you to the right tuner if you need it.

We have come to find that there are some tuners we just cannot recommend in the community due to their lack of experience and unwillingness to learn new products and how to tune them. We wont name names but if you say that one of those tuners is yours we are going to advise you go elsewhere. We have already had issues with those tuners for one not reaching out for help and two bashing the product when they never called for support. But I digress, Our canned tunes will be extremely reliable and safe. You may not get the highest HP out of our canned tune and this is why we recommend getting a custom tune. We want you to enjoy the car and drive it... not have to keep it in the shop for repairs.

For those that buy the kit you will get a standard Uprev License (if you do not have one) and a free canned tune. We will have an upcharge for Ecutek license if you opt for it you will still receive a free canned tune. If you already have a license we will send you a tune for free and give you a credit for the license.

On another note we have our new HAAS 5 axis CNC machine going into our new warehouse. That is expected to be in place in the next week. We should be beginning production on all parts by the end of the month.

What type of oil cooler is included, and what's the credit amount if you already have one?

Optional with the kit, not really optional when going FI. + $400-$650 for the Z1 Oil Cooler. :(

Oil cooling of some kind is necessary, but there are alternatives! My big-*** Gamma oil pan does the job for me, enough for the street anyway. CJM also makes a very nice pan... also the greddy pan. Just a couple of thoughts!

I'm curious what base forced induction kit comes with an oil cooler?

BP kit is the only one I can think of...

Edit: My gamma kit came with the pan which has allowed me to forgo a traditional oil cooler.
