Not sure if this helpful .. but I have the stage 2 kit with 650cc injectors smaller pulley (85mm) from kraftwerks ... I didn't bother with the stabilizer I upgraded to return fuel system ...... I thought the piping was the same except the inlet pipe...and the motor mount will be hard to find other than a used kit or gamma ....you would prolly be better with the smaller unit converted to the 1.5 than buying the larger unit I max my stage 2 unit out at 12.5lbs and I think you can get 11lbs with the smaller unit ...if I remember correctly

Kentmo, I can take some pics this weekend next to a ruler, vernier caliper, etc

I have the 1.5 and it runs the 650cc injectors, just like the stage 2

AntiVenom 11-10-2016 06:49 AM

Kentmo did you ever price the cost of just the upgraded GTM SC unit from them?

I've wanted to upgrade to a larger unit. I know the generic Rotrex unit runs about 2-2.5k.

kentmo280z 11-10-2016 07:36 AM

Well. I have been emailing with Amin @ Gamma.
The stage 1.5 includes the piping and a c3 92 unit. $3500.00
He said he could sell the kit minus the s.c. for $2000.00. But that may not hook up to my sc unit without a new s.c. housing to accommodate the intake pipe. .. 2k is too much. If it were 13 or 14 hundred I would pull the trigger if the housing came with the kit. Finding the motor mount is the biggest issue. Maybe they will sell just that. I can fabricate piping.

AntiVenom 11-10-2016 11:36 AM

I guess you would be getting
Intake pipes
turbo smart Bypass valve
Injectors
Fuel Stabilizer Kit
motor mount

the injectors alone are going to be $500-600, IIRC, and the bypass valve $270 or so. no idea what they'd want for the motor mount.

do you happen to know if $3500 is the same price to go to stage 2?

Well,
I bit the bullet and purchased the Gamma Stage 1 to 1.5 upgrade kit.
Included is the inlet housing & piping, inlet filter, 3" maf piping, Motor mount , 92mm pulley.
I'll have my pulley for sale. It reads 84 so I assume it's an 84mm pulley.
I'll measure that to double check.
Belt and sc traction oil.
Will update when it all happens.

Nice! Good luck. Should be straight forward.

Hopefully I can swap the SC housing out without a major tear down involved...
Waiting for Gamma to send me the installation instructions.

It's doable but the motor has to be lifted for removing the stage 1 intake.
Otherwise remove the Rotrex S/C and swap out the intakes. Third option in removing the Stage 1 air intake involves cutting it in half to provide clearance to remove it from the S/C.

A lift will make things easier to work on.

Keep the 84 mm pulley, as you may want to use it later for more boost.

I know I have to pull the exhaust manifold and motor mount, maybe that will give me some room to pull the housing ???..
I'm always up for an adventure...

Nope, the front motor cradle frame is in the way. Been there and done that.

I always wished i would have bit the bullet and did the 1.5 upgrade years ago before the GTM fiasco. If I remember correctly it was a lot cheaper back then too.

Curious to see how the install goes.

Yeah, GTM time it was about $1,800 I think originally, wish I bought it back then also.
