And so it begins

Begining my journey to join the boosted club tonight.
I purchased TopgunZ's used set up his SC, fuel pump, fuel return system, ID 1000, fuel rails, GTR PLUGS and of COURSE his A2A upgrade kit.
I am beyond excited to see how my car reacts to it.
Wish me luck, and I am open to suggestions and advise on things to look out for during the install.
Seb will be doing my tune again and already have the base tune.
:happydance:

In a few weeks I'll have some parts to sell, like G3 intake, Berks HFC with oil and dry filters.

I plan on taking a similar journey next year...F.I. TT and all the fixin's from Specialty Z.

Enjoy the Ride!

Made decent progress Friday and Saturday. Replaced fuel pump, fuel rails and injectors, installed the supercharger and 34row oil cooler and the 19row trans cooler. I need to make a different mounting bracket for the trans cooler it got in the way of the A2A intercooler. hopefully I will have time tomorrow to make it.

Can you just add on a couple rectangle pieces of aluminum with a hole drilled in each?

Are you going for a local tune or remote? Seb's done several of these and would be a great choice.

Seb tuned my car when I had all my bolt on's and has already sent me a base tune. I agree Seb is DA man for tuning!

I Finished the install yesterday, walbro 340 fuel pump, return fuel system from CJ Motorsports, ID 1000 injectors, Stillen SC, and TopgunZ's A2A upgrade.
What an experience for me and my Son, couldn't have done it with out him. Now I need to data log as much as possible for Seb to fine tune it. I'm not worried how much horse power it makes, it was more for the experience with my Son.

I have been very busy at work and haven't been able to log for my remote tune . So it's a slow process, Sebastian has been more than patient. I was able to do WOT today and holy moley she is a beast. Can't wait to have it all dialed in.

Just wait till you put the higher psi pulley set on. A whole new smile will appear.

Congrats on the fun!

I will post pics as soon as I remember how to.
I know you have to upload them to a hosting site then link them here.
I haven't had time to research it yet.

I seen this car is running without a filter also to make those numbers. In the FI finished build sticky he states it has an "intake delete" and you can see in the pic of his bay there is not filter on the sc. In doing so he is also making 15psi to get there on the water setup. How long is that motor going to last? Put a filter on there and it will drop to 9 or 10 psi and make around 450. The 378 tq is kinda low and that would drop to the 320's.

Im not trying to bash it, just dont want to see others think that is a good idea. Not worth it.

For what its worth...if you want to run filter-less on the A2A kit it will make over 600whp. Or 500's and 400's tq with the high quality K&N filter it includes.
