 I'll be interested to see how things go with your build for sure......Altered has installed all the upgrades I have (well, except for the blue kickplates) and I've had nothing but the best experience since day 1!

(Not suckin' up...just speaking the truth here!)

FuszNissan 08-20-2009 04:07 PM

Make sure they take pics! Tell jon to take you for a spin when it's done!

WOW! I'd love that! We both know the minute I get a ride in it I'll be dropping mine off for the same thing! I'm majorly impulsive! :icon17:

FuszNissan 08-20-2009 04:14 PM

LOL...I can tell by your super long sig.

Is this to become a Dealer Option with warranty? :excited:

FuszNissan 08-20-2009 08:27 PM

Yep!

Caravanshaka 08-20-2009 08:30 PM

seriously Fusz?

that'd kick ***, except I'd have to get the car to St Louis for warranty work, lol.

BTW, I've got $10 on 2theX being your next TT customer!

FuszNissan 08-20-2009 08:32 PM

You're on^^

I've been weighing the options on Cobb AccessPORT's or a TT....so yeah....I can see myself doing it! :icon17:

Hi-TecDesigns 08-22-2009 06:59 PM

Lou,

It was perfect timing... I dropped by AAM to speak with Mike, as you suggested, and they were just offloading your car from the trailer :) Don't worry, they told me to get out after I bounced off of the rev limiter for the third time coming around the corner... but there's no need to thank me for breaking the new engine in :tiphat: And no matter what they say, I was not the one who put that scratch down the hood :p

FuszNissan 08-22-2009 07:14 PM

How will I ever thank you...lol

ErnieT 08-27-2009 06:36 PM

What kind of power are you guys putting down on pump gas?

FuszNissan 08-27-2009 09:44 PM

We will know it about 6 weeks I guess.

Whoops. Although I'm looking to spend a ton of money on this car over the next couple of months, a drive to MD, a rental for two weeks and a hotel room for two weeks is alot of money to flush down a toilet.

I agree with the previous posters talking about internal wastegates (I'm not getting those) and widebands (I am definitely getting one of those).

Hi-TecDesigns 11-06-2009 10:05 AM

Lou,

I haven't been available lately to check for updates... AAM has had the car for 11 weeks now (or did I miss the delivery thread?), any updates?

bullitt5897 11-06-2009 10:20 AM

:iagree: any updates partner?

FuszNissan 11-08-2009 09:29 PM

Last email was they were welding the tubes and going in for sonic cleaning, and then on to final assembly. That was last week. So I am hoping we are on to dyno tuning soon.

any specific reason why it's taking so long? I'm looking for a turbo once the cf work is done but I'm not a fan of being told 4-6 weeks and then having it take 3x as long.

I can only say that I'm aware Altered is performing turbo upgrades on two 370's at the same time. Not sure if that has any play in it but just throwing that out there.

Hopefully Jon @ Altered will see this thread and update us soon? ;)

FuszNissan 11-23-2009 02:41 PM

It's not a kit. I a company that makes it all in-house, which is better quality control IMO. Know to say which is better, I can't answer that. But this is the route I choose.

BTW...It's only been 7 weeks

NYBladeZ 11-23-2009 03:19 PM

well 7 weeks sounds reasonable...I just followed the whole thread and checked out the post dates. I thought you shipped the car late August?

NYBladeZ 11-23-2009 03:21 PM

I agree with you Lou, an in house tuning shop that produces a custom kit is better quality control wise. However, will you ship the car to Maryland every time there is a problem? It's a heck of a road trip from St. Louis to Maryland.

FuszNissan 11-23-2009 03:22 PM

Yep, I shipped it early, they didn't start to work on it until a week after it arrived.

Better maryland, than someone here to work on it. I don't trust anybody in St. Louis They also have done many 350's and GTR's. I think they have some skillz

Lou, I'm in the STL area. Let's meet up after you get your car back and see how much faster it is than my stock Niz...

Jon@Altered 11-30-2009 09:01 AM

Hey guys,

Sorry for the delay, and you're right, it had been quite a long time without any updates on our Twin Turbo Development. As Lou said, we are building everything in house, from the manifolds, to the turbo lines, downpipes, intercooler, exhaust, everything is built in our shop. And because this particular car was the pilot, it takes a bit longer than any others that will come after it, simply because we want to ensure the best possible fit and finish for the turbo kit for the customer, without sacrificing max power. And with that I'll add....

IT LIIIIIVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!

I'll be putting a seperate build thread together a little bit later today full of pics, videos and of course, dyno numbers!

So since this car is all finished and back to the customer, Lou's motor is coming out this week, ready for turbos!

Clint@Altered 12-01-2009 08:58 PM

Hi everyone -

It took us longer than I anticipated to get this kit wrapped up and ready to roll. As usual, we hit some technical but interesting snags a long the way.

So much about the kit has changed since I posted this thread.

I am closing this thread (and then deleting it shortly) and I will be starting an official AAM 370TT thread in the next day or so.

Jon and I will detail the final kit components, go over general information, cover the different kit options as well as answering any general questions anyone has.

Please feel free to pm, email or call us if anyone has any quesitons.

Just wait and see, this is just the beginning of the power we'll be making with the 370 platform!

Thank you to all those who posted and commented.

Regards,

Clint@Altered
