700 rwhp Fast Intentions Nismo Build (93 pump & meth)
Heys Guys,
I wanted to share a build that we are doing on our 2014 nismo 370Z which will be completed just in time for Zdayz this year. We purchased the vehicle back in october 2015 completely stock with 10,000 miles on it. Not long after the vehicle was purchased we placed an order for the Fast Intentions Non-resonated test pipes and 2.5" Catback exhaust system. As soon as the exhaust products came in we installed them along with a set of K&N drop in filters and a custom ecutek tune. http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pso7gxdrzv.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psmyxhhtw4.jpg The power was great, but it got old real fast and we were looking for more power. After talking to tony at Fast Intentions we agreed that we were going to take on the stock block record for the 370Z in 1/4 mile times and horsepower but with a twist, in that we were going to accomplish this feature on 93 pump gas and the aquamist water methanol kit. ;) Here is the list of items that we are going to include in this build: :happydance: -Fast Intentions Stage Two Twin Turbo Kit (TiAL/XONA HTZ-2868 Turbocharger.) - Twin Turbo Full 3" Down Pipes: Internal wastegate Recirculation tubes. - 3" TT Cat Back Exhaust: Non Resonated / Polished Stainless Mufflers / 4.5" Tips. - Fast Intentions FAST-500: Return Fuel System - SZ Clutch/Flywheel Combo: Z33 (07-08), Z34 & V36. MAX 5-PUCK (Up to 725 RWH) - Aquamist HFS3 Kit - Turbosmart Eboost 2 Boost Controller - Innovate Wideband Gauge - Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial SS 305/40/R18 - Gram Lights 57FXX 18 x 10.5 +20 - Seibon GTR Carbon Fiber Hood - Mishimoto Radiator & Thermostat Parts have started to arrive and since we know that we have to have the vehicle completed by zdayz, we know we have a lot of work to do and we will continue to update this thread during the build...In the meantime, enjoy! http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pssculfyr5.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pse1hujbx7.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psv9nw6q44.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3t0nz6q8.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pspyfysivx.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psrt87vrtw.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psbcgknwc8.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pshkkddhbg.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pslxzzpoot.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pszqyxa4c4.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2jwobmnd.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4494jnt5.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psa08mhnoa.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psnkryj0a8.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0wcmunuh.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psbo0ixoyn.jpg *The quality of the Fast Intentions Twin Turbo Kit & fitment are by far one of the best fitting kits that we have installed* |
Sub'd! :D
|
Looks like a helicopter engine into a car.
|
I've often wondered why no one uses methanol injection. The Subaru guys love the stuff. Subbed for results.

That's cool going for the record on a stock block but better go ahead and start building a built motor.

Update:
Engine has been put back in the vehicle, Radiator, Oil Cooler, Fast 500 Fuel Return System have been installed, we have started on the aquamist kit, hopefully planning on hitting the dyno this saturday! http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psmirma8z6.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psxsi9acwj.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psaqbszvtr.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...syt0qfuc4.jpeg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pswaoobmow.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...s1u3h8eb5.jpeg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...snblgyilx.jpeg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psbxrzvh8m.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pse0uwajvd.jpg We have incorporated two 1.20 mm nozzle jets prior to the throttle bodies on each side as you can see below: http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...pswmzcpod6.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psvzmjs1ls.jpg |
Can't wait for dyno numbers.

Wow. Great looking build.. thanks for sharing

looks good man!
|
Awesomeness!!! I wonder how much power this will make with E85 and meth??

Can't use meth with e85 and e85 would yield greater tuning abilities than 93+meth..

Pretty cool to see someone else who pulls the sub frame the same way I do! Good work guys! Definitely aren't wasting any time on this one!
|
Way to go setting that record on pump gas
|
they forgot to post on here :p
but i believe it was 674whp and about 590tq |
Thats impressive for a stock Block!!! Great work guys!!!
|
Geez.
|
Sorry for not posting any updates, but here you are guys...we currently have the highest horsepower stock block 370z on 93 pump and water methanol!

These are the current boost settings that we will run the vehicle at, keep in mind that these numbers are in fourth gear, thus they will be higher when in fifth gear :) http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psxbmgspbq.jpg We will be running new rear wheels with 305/35/R18 mickey thompsons ET streets. http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psh0fevkp8.jpg 2015 front bumper has been installed as well! http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...ps02sdzrpi.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psu0tebzyz.jpg Be sure to come check the car out at the wanna go fast event this weekend at clayton Georgia and also at Zdayz! |
Can't wait to see this thing at ZDayZ.
|

Nik,
You should pick up the RJM manifold conversion!!! they made 30+rwhp on just pump gas and 5psi... I think you can break that 700rwhp barrier with the GTR conversion! You should give them a call or atleast pick up a unit at Zdayz ;) |

Come on hotrodz no love for the greddy TT guys??? |
Finally a dyno we all can see??

Lol, give a fan boy a break...Greddy set the path and the standard for those to follow so I have no hate for Greddy or any other any other setup. I'm just supporting my team! A good build is a good build even if it's a GTM and I said that out loud!

Hey Guys,
Update from this past weekend at wannagofast, our shakedown runs for the z on the second boost setting, which is around 590 wheel, resulted with a 148.12 mph, which we believe is the current record for half mile speed for a 370Z. Correct me if i am wrong but we have not been able to find any half mile speed for a 370Z :) http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7cmzutte.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psrbfme2au.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psl2wy4gwd.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...sabg1pccx.jpeg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...sqthust4d.jpeg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psgishzlpf.jpg Test fitting the new wheels for the airstrip... :) http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8syymavq.jpg |
