That's a tall order. Hope you have help. I know it's easier without the oil feed but it's still a lot of work. |

Finally finished boosted performance install ...2 days to install..3 days for replacement fuel temp sensor from dealer after frying mine lol still not bad install time tho ...had a few bugs to work out but so far she is purring like a beast...have to wait till after vacation trip to Orlando to get some road test in.
|
So far turbo seems to be ok ...got to switch wastegate springs out to a lighter spring ...had some minor issues with fuel pump crapping out on me ...which Sasha replaced quickly....got a dyno tune date sept 9 at Z1 .......hoping stock clutch will hold for the dyno lol

There have been guys that ran the stock clutch for their tuning. Don't expect it to last that long though. |

Stage 2 sc build has begun

Unless you are going for serious power, I've had really good luck with my Z1 full face and lightweight flywheel. Heard good things about Southbend too. If mine goes out I'm replacing it with Clutchmasters. |

I'm running 510/440 at the moment but my previous tune (which had a lot more miles on the clutch than the current one) was 505/470. So it held 470wtq for awhile. |
Stage 2 sc build has begun
Of course there's a lot of driver habits in there. I'm not hard on clutches. I've probably driven 350-400k miles (only three cars) on manual transmissions and have never burnt out a clutch.
|
I'm at 522 whp with 395 TQ...with the supercharger on stock clutch ...but I think it's showing it's signs of getting weak
|
The single turbo of Sasha's kit is going to come on like a freight train. It'll be a ton worse on the clutch than the SC.

Little 2018 update on my build, more parts have been ordered,
Jwt HD clutch & lightweight flywheel Cmak FI tow bar Z1 2pc rotors Also waiting on rotrex c38r results to see if I’ll upgrade in future. |
My update ....new clutch in supercharger...test pipes.. exhaust...water/meth kit
Short tails exhaust on turbo car ...boost controller setup and ready for retune.....have duel halo kits on the way as well for both cars .....sooo much to do lol |
