I must say this has been the worst 6 month project of my life. I know and understand STS has never done one and when their own guy says it should of not be realeased yet, it makes me worry. They have done everthing to fix the missing pieces, wrong pieces, etc but first dyno we could only pull 390.37hp with 340.77lbs torque. Hell at 5psi it was only 322.22hp with 273.65 torque. Oh did I mention they sent the wrong sprayers for the methanol injection and sent a 2 gallon jug. Now where in the hell is a 2 gallon jug gonna go in a 370?? Next Monday it's going back in again. Project started in June....
Sorry to hear that you've had problems. I also got very close numbers to you around 415hp 365lb torque at 7.5 psi I am hoping to add methanol injection and bump up the boost in spring. I don't think i'm gonna go with their kit though and I was thinking of building a custom tank in the trunk because as you mentioned there just isn't much room in our car for any of the pre-made tanks. I had recieved a dyno chart from sts with higher initial numbers but then i added a resonator it seems to have dropped the numbers a bit. Are you running a resonator on your setup? And do you have hfc's or test pipes? I hope you get your problems resolved quickly, I am curious as to whether you feel the methanol injection is worth it.

Is that the highest numbers you've seen and which dyno? On the sts site it says it's good for 470whp @ 7psi

The site is quoting estimated Brake HP, not Wheel HP. So 470 - 15% drivetrain loss = around 400 Whp.

No, the site clearly says whp...

"A combination of our patented remote-mount technology combined with an intercooler provides the lowest consistent air intake temperatures over any other forced induction system on the market. Owners of otherwise stock vehicles will experience 470whp @ 7 pounds of boost, but also receive the benefit of increased fuel economy over the competition. The beautifully tuned exhaust note from an STS Remote-Mount Turbo System is sure to put a grin on your face as you flyby all those other imports."

We shall see. They also posted that with the methanol injection system you should see up a 100hp increase but that was also on a Z06 corvette. So far I've read a lot and seen a ton of dyno sheets but I'm from the "Show-Me" state. I won't believe it until I see those kinds of numbers.

Exactly I want to see it before I believe it or spend thousands on it. That's just a quote I took from their site, I'd really like to see some graphs.

I will try to post the specs by Tuesday or Wednesday by the latest. Taking it to the drag strip on Wednesday to see what it will do in to 1/4mile.

Rick had sent me your dyno sheet while mine was being installed and I seen max was 456.8hp or he sent me someones elses but said it was from the first one they had done and it was rolling around in Canada.
Was told they talked to the guys with STS and they said there should be no problems hitting the 450-470 range, but yet again I'm the guinea pig. They have never installed a methanol injection system on a 370z. I was told the spayers they sent were for a V-8 so they sent a pair since it needs to hit both side of the engine. I'm hoping that by tuesday I will have the final numbers. So far $11,000 for 92hp...damn I got screwed

No the initial dyno was around 298hp, but the it was also being done in a hurry since they still had to finish the methanol.

Yeah that was my dyno sheet before I had the resonator installed, wow that's a lot of coin, is a lot of that install costs? I sincerely hope that your end results are worth it. I was supposed to get their methanol kit when they were installing my turbo but paths got crossed and it didn't happen, by the sounds of it maybe it's a good thing. I have all the parts for the snow performance methanol kit I just have to make a tank for the trunk. Who is doing your install? And where are they mounting your tank?

Also I'm pretty sure the dyno numbers he sent you had been corrected to sea level, I don't know what elevation your at but that can be a bit misleading as well. How much boost are you planning to run when the metabolism injection gets installed?

I'm at about 700-900ft and I'm shooting for at least 8psi and at higher elevation your car can't breathe as well. I had just gotten back from working in Wyoming and my work truck was acting like it smoked 10 packs of cigarettes a day. So I know at my elevations I should see better numbers.
It's the guys at executive performance in Meriam,KS they were the only ones with 2 states that were STS certified. The main cost was I got the ball bearing upgrade, coated turbo, oil cooler, boost controller with methanol injection, & gauges. They only charged me $1200 for the install but for all the problems that this build has given them I threw them an extra $500 for the fact that they have tried to keep me happy and the quality on the worked done.
