I just drove the car home so I can change the pipe over the weekend. New pipe will be here tomorrow.

I need help, while changing the y pipe I just noticed one of the o rings has a cut in it and Nissan is telling me I have to buy a new MAF to get one. Anyone know wher I can get a replacement one?

Try a car junkyard.

Good idea!

A good autoparts store such as Napa, a hydraulic cylinder rebuild shop, or maybe even online if you can get measurements of the o-ring.
Is this o-ring round or a shaped o-ring? |
No, its a rectangle. the parts stores all say I have to buy a MAF.
|
Shaped. Buy a used maf off ebay. I bought 2 for $12

Let me know if you can't find what you need. I'll find my old purchase.

Absolute last resort, you could use a silicone gasket maker, but I'd be weary of stuff messing with the MAF. I'd try a junkyard or ebay before I tried silicone.

I found one from someone in the local Z group and the new y pipe is in the car, hopefully that fixed it.

:happydance::tup::driving: $#! T....keeping our fingers crossed

MAF leaks are gone we but can hear a hiss from the valve covers, I'm guessing its blowing by the rings a little. Today was the first day the shop has been open since Christmas Eve so the place is full of people and we couldn't strap it to the dyno, I'm waiting to hear back when the tuner is available and when we can try it again.
