Did they tell you how much PSI you made on that pull?

JWillis72 12-22-2015 08:21 AM

No cogs, it was only 5 psi. Don't have a plan yet, they open in an hour so I will go up and figure out where it is leaking from. Most likely it's headed to 928 Motorsports and this is done for the year. My only hope is that it's the drain line but we just replaced it.

TopgunZ 12-22-2015 08:31 AM

What rpm did they let off the throttle?

Ill be keeping my fingers crossed for you its the drain line.

JWillis72 12-22-2015 08:33 AM

I think that was from 3k to 5k

JWillis72 12-22-2015 08:34 AM

The BOV was only closed for a 1-2 sec.

The supercharger is not pissing oil, it blew some oil out the vent. It has always done that and now we are spinning it faster. I guess he just wanted to kick in the junk first thing by the way he worded it.

The tuner is on a flight to see his family so we are dead in the water until he lands. We removed the vacuum line from the regulator and ran it to 5k, it made 300/300 at 5k rpm.

That's pretty nice. Nothing like even HP/TQ:tup:

There is light in this tunnel

I hope it isn't a train!

TopgunZ 12-22-2015 11:26 AM

It is. A 535whp train.

I wasn't making much power until they started advancing timing. Im sure they haven't been too aggressive with that yet. I bet you can get well over that at 5K after she has a few degrees advanced.

at this point all they have been adjusting is the fuel. Starting at about 3,000rpm the AFRs start dropping bad and it got crazy rich. We think it looks better on the run today because it leveled off this time but we are waiting for the tuner to look at it.

Take a break and enjoy the free days!

Next year's performance will be followed ... I feel that ...
Good luck and best wishes for your Project!

Reading this thread is like watching a soap opera. Hopefully, you'll get some nice Christmas presents when the tuner comes back.

He is remote tuning and has his lap top with him so we just need him back on the ground.
