Another G brotha that came to the same conclusion as I, the Z homies are a better group of folks  |
Yo, I was just at FI and they are very close on finishing the the kit for the the G. Everyone will be able to eat cake soon!

Lovely. In Kaliforniastan it's not a good idea in front of local authorities.

I'm running no crash bar at all. The FMIC, although expensive, is a crash bar in itself. The FI replacement is made of steel and most likely provides more impact resistance than the aluminum OEM bar |

Z are just a better performing car due to the short wheel base and lighter (400lbs) To sum it up, you will find more people to relate to cause I'm a modded VQ. If Q60 comes out with factory TT you will see a boom in the G forums again. Now is Z's a better car? Will that all depends on your wants and needs. Blowing the doors off a Vette with two hot bitches sitting in my backseat is a plus compared to a Z.;) |

Correct me but I believe you don't have to remove the motor to install the FI kit where the AAM you do? Just something else to consider.

http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/d...shcrawfish.jpg My pops has a gigantic boil pot if lots of people want to do a big boil. The pot is 3'x3'x3' square with a basket. It can probably fit 120lbs of bugs in one batch. Ohh, and it's a toss up on which kit for me. They are both good. I think the only thing that has me slightly leaning to FI is the CS. On a side not, I HATE EVERYONE THAT HAS THE FI AND AAM kit!! That is all. Carry on. Edit: My POP's pot is 2'x2'x2 YzGyz |

I'll play :stirthepot:
AAM kit has less than ideal pipe routing. for instance, look at that 90* turn the boost has to make before entering the intercooler passenger side. Or how close the intake pipe is to touching the the turbo manifold. Or how about those couplers on top of the intercooler. Too many bends and turns. It looks inefficient. Now go look at FI. Everything has smooth transitions. And both sides passenger and driver...looks equal length and mirror image of each other |

I would sacrifice a few extra hours of work (if that even) for the utmost efficiency and power.

The beauty of a built motor. Tune my torque curve like a table top and let HP be what it will! Great numbers bro:tup: |

Power is power. Piping makes a different, but shouldn't be the main factor. FI, AAM both good kits. |

It's just my opinion.... Don't let that persuade you. Buy whatever you think will make you the happiest |
