While the 370Z has its share of problems (eg, CSC, oil consumption), bad pedals doesn't seem to be one of them. Some people don't like the feel but not many failures have been reported (this is the first I've noticed on this site). You just got the random bad part that crops up every now and then on any car. Get it fixed and have fun. :driving: Good luck with Nissan. If the dealer you are using now gives you any problems about it being under warranty, try another dealer.

I'm pretty much in agreement here!

It is stiffer which I like, but it slides side to side and is very hard to modulate now.

Consumer affairs lady called yesterday and again today. Left a message saying I'd hear something by next monday or I could call. I called and left her a message (saying to shoot me an email).

dealing with the canned message lady is the most painful part of the process, i thinks...

btw, id just go aftermarket in your case.

I'm pretty sure he's already purchased the RJM pedal assembly  :driving:

Read the first post and don't know if it has been said already but i would call it "pedals improve themselves while driving apparently"

Lady called back. Since it's clutch related it's not under warranty and they are sorry that Nissan cannot help me.

If the middle pedal does this I bet they will.

This sounds exactly like the Nissan warranty experience I have come to know and doesn't surprise me in the least :shakes head:

The lady was extremely flabbergasted that A) I knew what a clutch system was and how it worked (she did not, being just a PR person) and B) I am ordered a new pedal myself not through the dealer.

On a side note, the RJM pedal hopefully will be in today. The Canadapost website says "10/27 in transit, expected delivery date 10/25" Please explain this Canada :p:confused:

nissan consumer affairs = canned messaged lady.

unforutunately unlike amazon's canned messaged team, nissan's writers suckarse. :icon17:

RJM Pedal installed. Still getting used to it and dialing it in. The setting I have it on feels similar to stock with a lower engagement point. Also the pedal doesn't wobble side to side.
