Yes, please elaborate on this screw issue. Several of us have asked for more info without any response. More details on how this is secured. thank you

EVOR 12-06-2009 10:30 AM

OKay here are some photos of where the screws need to be use to secure the diffuser. This is best if you have the rear bumper off. It would eaier to put on. I do provide exact size screw, so that you won't over screw to the diffuser. Here are some pics.

So the screws go into the diffuser from the back side of the bumper? That's a pain in the azz. Carbon fiber is light. I don't understand why a couple of screws from the underneath and two sided tape on top wouldn't hold this securely?

EVOR 01-05-2010 09:02 AM

more installed with HKS Ti catback

DannyGT 01-05-2010 10:45 AM

Do you have whole pictures of that red car? I'm interested in how he has the sunline rears with your diffuser....

Also, thats an HKS exhaust? I thought HKS's had the those resonators on top of the rear cans? Maybe its a different model?

jrmlk 01-06-2010 10:14 PM

Is anyone working at Evo-R? I've left two messages since Monday of this week and have yet to get a call back.

Does anyone know the weight of the carbon fiber rear diffuser versus the fiberglass one?

EVOR 01-07-2010 09:33 PM

Sorry, I was busy doing lots packing and working on 350Z Titanium engine cover. The CF and FRP one weight is about 2-3 lbs difference. CF one actually weights more. Cuz you have clear coat and CF material over FRP. PM me would be the best way to contact me.

ZPirate 01-07-2010 09:55 PM

Can you provide me with the specific weights of each?

Can you PM me the price of the CF diffuser and the CF center bumper cover shipped to 27858 as well as the fiberglass diffuser and the CF center bumper cover also shipped to 27858?

ZPirate 01-09-2010 02:29 PM

EVO-R I sent you another PM. When will the non carbon fiber diffuser be available?

NewYorkJon34 01-11-2010 11:59 PM

Waiting for the non-carbon version as well...

RadarThis 01-12-2010 12:36 PM

damn thats sex right there!

NewYorkJon34 01-12-2010 12:52 PM

I don't know what would look better on a Pearl White, carbon or non-carbon? I have the F.I. Carbon mufflers so carbon might match better, but I'm not sure :( I just don't want it to look "rice"

RadarThis 01-12-2010 06:22 PM

is it offered in DRY CF? (sorry if i missed that)

I still don't know if it is currently available or not. I would just like to know if it is and if not when it might be. :icon14:

EVOR 01-12-2010 09:35 PM

I should have some in none CF in about a week or so. I can have them painted to your color for extra $85. Otherwise it comes in flat black. Dry CF? do you mean matted CF look?

I think I may have asked this before, but I don't remember if you answered it or not. Can this be mounted with double sided tape on the unit, with just the screws being used under the bottom right and left ends? I am not too keen on screws from behind the bumper. This thing in CF can't be that heavy.

John

Do you have any images of a Pearl White painted rear diffuser installed on a Pearl White 370Z?

No, cannot just do that. Top part will pop up.

Can this be done without removing the bumper, or does the bumper have to be taken off to install?

NewYorkJon34 01-15-2010 01:30 PM

The lights got to be in first, then put on the diffuser. Like our first photo on white bumper. The center LED is on first.

NewYorkJon34 01-15-2010 07:52 PM

So I'm going to have my fog light installed this week, then whenever I install your diffuser, i'll just install it normally, after that should everything "snap" into place?

NewYorkJon34 01-15-2010 07:54 PM

Do you have a picture of the rear diffuser actually installed on a white 370Z, not just on the bumper? I've seen that pic already. You should put all the pics you have on the first page.

EVOR 02-01-2010 03:17 AM
