the stock knob on the Z is pretty good the way it is.. might want to spend that 150 on something else like GTR push button, clear map lens, etc. get more for your $ if you're on a budget.

one thing i dont recommend is cheaping out on knobs. the feel of the car changes dramatically when you change knobs..and most often than not, you really get wat you pay for. GL!

OEM knob is good, but I wish it was shorter.

it also depends on the finish/texture of the knob. ive had metal knobs that got hot but not super hot in the summer months like the twm satin knob.
but then a polished momo got scorching hot.

if you're worried about hot/cold, check out the twm specter. it's weighted brass core with delrin. very nice.
doesnt get hot at all honestly. ive parked my car in direct sunlight many many times and ive never come back to a knob that was unbearably hot. when i had an aluminum shift knob.... it was a different story. couldnt touch it and carried around a sock in my center console.

ive got all that basically last thing on my list is a good knob.. i cant stand the feel of the oem knob and i want a heavy knob for smooth shifts. i might look into the spector i just want to find a pic of what it looks like in the car..

Not quite the Specter, but this gives you an idea. Just imagine a silver portion on the bottom.

hmmm. it looks alright. either way i would have to wait for them to do the big sales on the knobs because its out of my budget atm.
i would also imagine everything would match up good because i have the twm short shifter

Im leaning more towards the wc late werks but now its all down to whether i want the titanium or stainless steel. I want more weight but am in love with the burnt finish of the titanium. so im torn between two.

If you want to keep the weight of Stainless Chris at Lathe Werks can finish the stainless in a blue or blue/bronze finish.

If you go with the Lathe Werks knob I would recommend getting the matching boot flair in metal like in the picture over the copolymer one, it looks better IMHO. I think he charges like $20 extra but its worth it.
