Just came across this..
Subaru BRZ Scion Fr s 12 14 Rear Bumper Lower Air Flow Diffuser Spoiler PP Black | eBay

I am thinking it may fit under our bumper.

I am thinking that could perhaps slide under the rear bumper and cover the area below the exhaust tips. then one would merely paint the above part black to match.
