Hey guys. I'll be adding pics of my Overlays in my Gallery in the next few weeks. In the meantime, I thought it'd be nice if anyone sporting my Overlays, post and share their pics here :). So lets see them :).

Because I dont get on the forum as much as I'd like, email me to order, rather than pming me. Thanks!

looks great, can an average everyday joe put the rear valence vinyl on or would you recommend a auto detail shop do it? Im afraid I wouldnt put it on straight. Any pics of the fangs?

kenchan 09-27-2009 08:55 AM

can the radius on the rear valance be improved at the top right and left? even with this level zoom-in i can see that it's not completely parallel with the line (line between the rear bumper and valance area).

Here is how an average everyday Joe did it, patience and a hair dryer is all it takes:

the radius on yours look cleaner, but now you got a gap by the fog lamp...

fairladyZ34 09-28-2009 10:17 PM

i wondered how the tinted tails GTR style would look on a black 370z?

NewYorkJon34 09-28-2009 10:41 PM

^I was thinking the same thing about a pearl white Z

fairladyZ34 09-28-2009 11:04 PM

i thought about eventually tinting mine with the VHT nightshade but i dont know if i like the idea of "permanent" on a 20k sports car. at least with overlays they can be removed

NewYorkJon34 10-01-2009 04:06 PM

^more like a 30k sports car, what's the tint % on the GTR Style Taillight?

fairladyZ34 10-01-2009 11:42 PM

my bad on the tyypo lol. thatd be something if i got it for 20 lol.

Solus 10-04-2009 02:37 PM

Bluebatmobile,
I have sent a pm and an email and can't seem to get in touch w/ you in regards to your overlays. I am looking at getting full smoke head and tail lights please pm w/ a price and ordering information.

Solus 10-13-2009 11:47 PM

Still no response from bat :(

BennytheBlade 10-18-2009 05:10 PM

Id be intererested in this as well.

Mike@Blackline 10-18-2009 05:21 PM

i can vouch for bluebatmobile, great guy, really really helpful, and ive had a few sets of turn signal overlays on my 350zs. for bigger projects like tailights and whatnot, id def recommend getting a shop with experience to do it.
A+ on product and service

as most of you guys know he does this for A LOT of car models on a lot of forums, but he's got you guys covered and will get back to you;)

ddvette9 10-23-2009 06:49 AM

Also looking for smoke tailight pricing along with rear valence overlay pricing. Hopefully he gets back with some information soon

NewYorkJon34 10-23-2009 09:23 AM

I just ordered his full tail light tint as well as his third brakelight tint, both in 6/10 shade. I own a PW 370Z and will post pics when they get installed.

ddvette9 10-24-2009 09:19 AM

For those that have applied the rear valence overlay, is the vinyl really flimsy and requires really good hands to match it up evenly, is it easy to incorrectly put on the overlay. I am pretty bad with putting things on even like this, but maybe the unapplied product is firm and requires little effort. Before I order can someone maybe briefly walk me through what needs to be done in a few sentences

Have I not responded by now? It can take a couple days at times to respond to emails. Also, my computer might think your email is spam. Shoot me a pm then. I dont get on site as much as I'd like with my busy schedule.

Actually the material I use for the rear valence overlays is easier to apply. Just use soap and water to help postion it, then squeegy out. Oh, and use a hairdryer for the curved sections to make the vinyl more pliable ;).

Black Fangs

Hey Blue Bat,

When might you be finished with the fang overlays? Is it a difficult job - would it be easier to spray paint them vs overlay? I'm new at this, so don't be too hard on me :)

Thanks
-S

simota1 01-05-2010 05:30 AM

spraying them is easier.... but also... its permanent.... so spray it ONLY if u want it forever :D

simota1 01-05-2010 05:31 AM

O and welcome to the forums bro!!!
