$800 for running lights each!?? Damn that is expensive I would go aftermarket and do custom ones and probably custom lighting as well

Not an easy task, as there are very few images available, but I hope this gives you an idea.

By the way trust me, the duckbill is back there, just hard to see because of the suns reflection. ;):icon23:

Thank you sir, my imagination can take it the rest of the way. Now just to find out how much the LED DRLs are going to cost..

edit: $800 each for the LEDs?!?!?!??!?!!? WTF

I plan to get as soon as the release the side skirts and rear bumper. I well make carbon fiber mold for the inserts to solve the $1600 running lights...

^This, and please make something for the red finisher crap at the bottom of the front bumper like DIGI said. :tiphat: I was going to paint them black or body color anyway, CF is much better.

x1000. Replacing those red add-on bits with CF would be tits.

That was the same response that I got. I also asked if it would bolt straight to the base car without having to replace the under tray or fender liners, etc. Z1 said yes, but that he would collect more info.

If I buy the bumper, I'm not getting the DRLs, at least initially. Way too expensive of an add-on. It makes me wonder if I can swap the 2013 DRLs over to it. The fit doesn't look perfect, but they may slot in there somehow.

lesper4 08-18-2014 02:45 PM

Wait what, $800 per DRL?

6spd 08-18-2014 03:26 PM

The first company to make a replica light that fits will bank no doubt, cough cough hurry up, i want to spend my money cough cough.

$800 leds... O_o wtf?

Yes, $800 per DRL. Nissan sells the 2013 DRLs for like $750, so this price was not surprising.

KaienZ34 08-18-2014 05:21 PM

Plus the nismo badge in the corner of the drivers side of the bumper clips in. It's not needed but without it there will be a hole or something for it to snap into.

So front bumper skin, $370
Red trim/finishers pieces, $50 each
DRL's, $800 each
Nismo badge, $50
Reuse Nissan emblem, $0

Still waiting on word from Z1 to confirm whether or not the non-nismo undershroud and fender liners can be used. Or if a new set has to be purchased, as we know this piece alone on the 09-14 nismo is like $1,400 bucks or so by itself.

Since the bumper has to be painted, might as well have the body shop just debadge the thing beforehand.

ufoz8mycow 08-18-2014 06:54 PM

I should have known better than to get my hopes up when the $370 price was posted up. The 'old' Nismo front end conversion costs around $2100.... There was no way in hell this one would only cost 1/4 of that amount. Thanks for the $1600 LEDs, Nissan.

Malm 08-18-2014 07:21 PM

subbed, but waiting on the "nismo front bumper kit" confirmation or not! Other than I think it doesn't..

So for my 2011,

Bumper - $370 (I see what they did here)
Accessories (snap on liner) -$50 per (how many are there 3 right?)

Not bad really if it DOESNT require a kit.
