So how much lower to the ground does the kit sit compared to stock? More specifically the front bumper?

Hey not sure if this will help you. I still have my front bumper in my house.

Just measured the height - the main part of the bumper is around 17" tall.

The lip portion is another 3 inches.

Looks like it will be a few inches longer than stock so that will make more of a difference for clearance issues imo.

Looks killer man. Thanks for the heads up about Fizz. I am going to talk to them about getting mine painted (finally) this weekend.

I decided I like my current gun-metallic color too much to change it.

I saw Liquid_G's car in the shop today. The pics don't really do that paint job justice. There are blue flecks in the paint and CF that you can only see in direct light - or UV.

So if you think it looks good now it will really come to life outside. Just one of those things that camera's don't pick up well.

I finally ran out of patience with having an Arising II bumper in my living room and have been a bit more proactive lately. ha ha.

Car looked awesome man. It looked like they were prepping a final round of polishing, some detail work, and then reassembly.

Ask them for the UV light when you are in next time. After I saw the blue specs I realized how great the car will look once complete and fully polished.

Def get some super high res shots of it when done.

I am going to stick with my original plan to have the bumper and lip OEM gun-metallic. I keep wanting to change colors until I go back to look at my car.

The joy of a short attention span. I get excited about the same thing again and again.

Going for a non-gloss black for the center portion. Likely going to have them paint my duckbill spoiler as well (currently CF).

It will be a curious experiment to see how well this front blends with a fairly stock exterior. Although since I have yet to find a full kit that I like 100% I might mix and match and look at doing an Amuse rear with this front.

I was a little influenced from spending a lot of time looking at GTRs - front is a little busy, sides are fairly plain, back has the signature tail lights and shape.

I really like the transformation of Liquid_G's Z and can't wait to see the finished product. :tiphat:

holy tits!!!!

ZeroZeta 01-14-2015 04:45 PM

I was curious if it would be realistic to expect any minor gains from improved airflow with the Varis bumper nostrils and a Stillen G3.

Or would I just be looking at a higher possibility for hydro lock? ha ha.

Amuse370 01-14-2015 04:46 PM

I hope no hydro lock but I don't really drive mine in the rain

Loving it. Where do I get one?

How the owner chooses to color this kit plays a major role in whether or not it works from a visual standpoint.

See the attached image for comparison.

Dude I love the grills in the vents really makes for a nice clean look in the Grey one. I'm selling my Nismo kit and getting one of these. But will keep my wing. I like my wing or maybe the Amuse wing would look nice?
