EVO-R CARBON FIBER Door Switch Covers
 

Just purchased the switch covers. They came in different weave pattern. Kinda disappointing as they look off. Is this normal?

Did you buy them directly form EVO-R? If so good luck getting them right...

If you bought them from the Z Store give them a ring and they should take care of you.

Those patterns are way off.

Try to contact Jay by email and by phone!!!! It may take awhile and several attempts but keep trying. Hope things get worked out!!

Ive had horrible customer service from them. Hopefully you receive better.

EVO-R is brutal. They were the one and only time I've had to submit a PayPal claim in all my years of buying and selling on the interwebz.

Maybe I can order a set, hope that I get the opposite weave, and then we can trade

I've had a few more. most cases it is pointless because they ask you to ship it back with tracking and signature which may be more than what the product costs.

I bought a compact camera lens replacement for $65, they sent **** instead. Had to open a case with paypal because they wouldn't reply to my emails, Paypal asked me to ship **** back. $30 with tracking w/o signature, $50 with signature... cheaped out and chose no signature. they claim they never received it, i'm out $90 :shakes head:

Don't jynx yourself. Wait until you have the correct parts in hand. Then, and only then, can you say something like that. It wouldn't be the first time Jay has said all the right things publicly and then still not filled the order correctly, or at all.

That's what happened with my EVO-R case. At the end of the day I was out $25 to return product that had a manufacturers defect.

After that, maybe you could make sure your vendors have your products to sell? I've had to cancel multiple orders after waiting weeks because you couldn't manage to get the Z Store a shipment. You've got lots of parts I'd like to buy, but your way of doing business leaves a lot to be desired.

Yea, cuz too much orders. We ship by first come first serve.

Ah. So it sounds like we'd all be better served purchasing through Carbon Fiber Element. Gotcha.

Another witless vendor on the Plasmite do not buy list. Shame it's slowly growing....

I would like to buy a lot of your interior carbon fiber parts but I'm probably going to look somewhere else because the customer service is so hit and miss. Ahhhhhhhhh

Noob question, but which pic is which weave?

I like the one on the left personally.

Yeah they do have different weave patterns. I would contact them asap.

Left is 2x2 twill and right is plain weave. Up close in person I prefer plain for this part, the detail level is much nicer for a small piece like this
