I had that diffuser on my 350z and always kicked myself in the *** for not holding it up to the 370z to see if it was any close to being able to fit before I sold it.

I wouldnt mind cutting out the rear fog light or the entire area there to fit that diffuser.

SUBBED. Please make it work!

Would the g37 one work with the regular or Nismo rear? Hmmm...

EVOHUNTER 04-11-2014 01:01 PM

Last night we did a test fit, with my stillen exhaust it fits, I have to move the brackets outwards. Ill have to make a few custom brackets, which wont be hard. We might not need to remove the third light, we might be able to almost cap it with the way the diffuser is made. If you have a Nismo, Evo-r makes one for the nismo now, but not for the touring or base.
Once im off from work ill be going at it again, should have pictures up ASAP. Ill also do a DIY if it works lol!
If you look here, its almost like the diffuser will "cap" of the rear light.

Curious and not promoting either...but reasons why not? They look the same

FairladyZ10PG 04-11-2014 02:23 PM

Amuse! Amuse! Please!
& maybe you can mass produce those brackets for us so we wouldn't have to make our own :)
some of us don't have that kind of skill...

interested if you can use on Non Amuse kits!

EVOHUNTER 04-19-2014 05:36 PM

Ok guys, Finally got time to do the final mount process, i was able to fab up brackets, from aluminum flats from hope depot, Cost was under 13 bucks, the original brackets that mount up to the outer part of your fenders can still be used. Ill have a full DIY up soon, i took pictures along the way. Note, the kit would fit perfect if there wasn't the fog/brake light. So if someone goes to the extra step, and completely removes this assembly. For me, i have a amuse kit, so putting the time and labour just isn't worth my time. This diffuser will be going on my amuse kit in 5 weeks or so, the foglight has been shaved off completely. Ill have pictures up down the road with the amuse kit. I should have pictures up of this one completely done by tomorrow night! But it works, and doesn't look to bad on the stock bumper.

Just wondering what you guys think about the vortex tubes this diffuser comes with, I'm not sure if ill use them.

What you could do is cut out the fog light. Then put some fiberglass across the hole, smoothe it out with bondo. Then either plastidip that whole bottom part or wrap it with vinyl or paint it. Then it wouldn't look so awkward. But it looks pretty nice reguardless.

FairladyZ10PG 04-20-2014 12:09 AM

Looks like it fits pretty well except the fog light as you mentioned. Nice work. I'm waiting to see the results on the amuse bumper as well. Mine should be on in about 2 weeks :)

RyanWest 04-20-2014 02:48 AM

looks legit to me. I wouldnt even mind leaving the third light on... Cant wait for the DIY thread to come up

simota1 04-20-2014 03:15 AM

wow, cant wait to see that on the amuse ! !

EVOHUNTER 04-20-2014 01:49 PM

Thanks guys, i should have the complete mounting done today! The Full DIY should be up in the next week or so, very easy process. I have all the Part #'s for the bolts, aluminum flats, and a few misc stuff. These part numbers are from HomeDepot, So its as easy as going there and buying the stuff. Socket set, drill, drill bits and torch (to bend the aluminum so it won't break) are all the tools needed. It can all be done on the jack stands, with the back wheels off. I had to use a hoist to fab the brackets, it was near impossible to get the proper measurements without the hoist. Ill get you guys some more pictures asap!
heres some more farther shots, as requested, these where from yesterday. @kz34wa
