Ok guys, Finally got time to do the final mount process, i was able to fab up brackets, from aluminum flats from hope depot, Cost was under 13 bucks, the original brackets that mount up to the outer part of your fenders can still be used. Ill have a full DIY up soon, i took pictures along the way. Note, the kit would fit perfect if there wasn't the fog/brake light. So if someone goes to the extra step, and completely removes this assembly. For me, i have a amuse kit, so putting the time and labour just isn't worth my time. This diffuser will be going on my amuse kit in 5 weeks or so, the foglight has been shaved off completely. Ill have pictures up down the road with the amuse kit. I should have pictures up of this one completely done by tomorrow night! But it works, and doesn't look to bad on the stock bumper.

Just wondering what you guys think about the vortex tubes this diffuser comes with, I'm not sure if ill use them.

What you could do is cut out the fog light. Then put some fiberglass across the hole, smoothe it out with bondo. Then either plastidip that whole bottom part or wrap it with vinyl or paint it. Then it wouldn't look so awkward. But it looks pretty nice reguardless.

Looks like it fits pretty well except the fog light as you mentioned. Nice work. I'm waiting to see the results on the amuse bumper as well. Mine should be on in about 2 weeks :)

Thanks guys, i should have the complete mounting done today! The Full DIY should be up in the next week or so, very easy process. I have all the Part #'s for the bolts, aluminum flats, and a few misc stuff. These part numbers are from HomeDepot, So its as easy as going there and buying the stuff. Socket set, drill, drill bits and torch (to bend the aluminum so it won't break) are all the tools needed. It can all be done on the jack stands, with the back wheels off. I had to use a hoist to fab the brackets, it was near impossible to get the proper measurements without the hoist. Ill get you guys some more pictures asap!
heres some more farther shots, as requested, these where from yesterday. @kz34wa

Why can I not see any of these pictures?!

konsta 05-03-2014 01:16 PM

I think that diffuser combined with the shine auto rear spats would look killer, would love to see someone try that or photoshop it

All to dark of a car and pics to wrap my head around it.

Can you find out the angle of attack under the muffler tips and if you add the little side things on? The sides look like a better angle but the mufflers almost look flat so kinda pointless to be a real diffuser.
