I bought new LED's and cannot figure how to get to the reverse bulbs. I need pics please..I searched for 2 hrs on this forum and I have replaced dome light, rear hatch and license plate so far with good instructions. PLEASE HELP. last ditch effort before trying something else. thanks

Just replaced mine and it is a chore! Haha
Follow this DIY from step 2 and be very careful not to crack your plastics... I put a small crack in one of mine. DIY: of complete FOG LAMP install

So that is why no one replaces the rear backup lights. I am not messing with the weatherstripping.You cannot enter thru wheel well? thanks for the response.. I guess I will live w/o.

it is easy to replace and yes, you must gut the trunk and remove the weather stripping to gain access.

Yup, it's not difficult at all. The weather stripping goes on and off easily. There's a youtube video of a guy doing a step by step installation of LED reverse lights. Video is titled "370Z Tail Light Removal and LED CREE Installation" by user dansinfodiner. Sorry, can't post a link because I'm at work.
Though I will say be careful when removing the side panels. Some of those white clips came out. I was able to grab most of them, but one fell back somewhere I couldn't see or get to. |
