Here is a very good thread about Nismo front conversion. Yes it's expensive.

I, myself, is in a process to repaint/rebuild my nismo front. I will sell my imperfect nismo front pretty soon if you are interested.

I think that is is about it. Maybe some additional hardware is required.

Here is a kit form Z1.

NISMO 370Z Front Fascia Conversion

:iagree: No need to spend $1000 to buy this overpriced oem nismo undertray. Get the Zspeed undertray and your gold.

As for additional hardware, all you need is the oem 2-poece pop rivets and 10mm bolts. Both of them are very cheap. $8 can get you 20 of them which is plenty.

Sorry to go a little off topic here, but did you say you can buy Nismo rivets through your dealership??? I needed a couple rivets for the Nismo front bumper awhile back, but my dealership told me that they could not get them! I've been screwed over SOOO many times by this dealership. Would like to know if this is BS now too.

I like them both...I think the Amuse looks hot on a Nismo as well especially if it is properly filled with a large intercooler LOL. For me if you go Amuse, you need a proper wing to go with it. Go large or don't go at all!

Yes. This is true for Canada. I wanted the Nismo S-Tune front nose finisher and the dealership told me they could "no longer" get any Nismo parts shipped to Canada:shakes head:
FN stupid

Thanks for the info. Well, I guess I can't blame that one on the dealership then. Long story short, I ended up smokin' a rabbit and had the whole front bumper replaced (rivets included) through a respectable bodyshop.

Back on topic. I think the Nismo definitely looks cleaner. A little more streamline. That's my preference anyways. If you are going for a more aggressive look, I think Amuse (and Stillen) is the way to go. Both look fantastic though so you really can't go wrong.

Those pop rivets are not Nismo specific as well as the 10mm bolts that holds the bumper and diffuser. I can only say your dealership hadn't worked on a nismo yet. Lol. I asked my Nissan dealership here in USA a week ago and they couldn't find the hardware(rivets and bolts) in their database too. There is no part number for it because those are general hardware. After I showed them that rivets they will need they said no problem those are cheap.

And I just google a bit. Those are like $6 for 20 of them. Really cheap. Lol.

Yeah, to say my dealership hasn't worked on a Nismo before is an understatement. I actually cringe when I see my appointment for an oil change getting close. :eekdance:

Fountainhead 04-08-2014 08:26 PM

I would get a quote for the whole job just replacing with OE and then take the bumper and do it myself and keep the rest for mods that really count - in the seat of the pants.

Tick64 04-08-2014 08:28 PM

...not that the Nismo is any different than other Z oil changes. My dealership is just retarded :D

Yeah my dealership is too, scary bunch of Honda guys working there. I mean they look like their nuts just dropped and the Stealership wants me to let them work on my car? No way.

Yeah, the issues I have with my dealership run a little deeper. Weird scenario involving one mechanic. A couple years ago I started dating this mechanic's high school crush. Lets just say threats to me and my car led to my involvement with Nissan Canada head office, dealership management, and the police. I actually call the service manager to schedule my appointments on days this particular mechanic doesn't work. Seems like a bit of a pain in the ***, but I can't be bothered to drive to another city for servicing. I feel like the car gets pretty good servicing now that Nissan Canada got involved. I can only imagine the notes under my profile on their computer screens when I take my car in. I don't think I want to know what it says :roflpuke2:

I like the Amuse for Stance look and Nismo for Meaty Sporty look.. and yeah someone sell me Used amused kit jkjk

JeMo44 04-10-2014 01:00 AM

Looks like the aAmuse it is. Thanks for the input from everyone, after seeing how much the extra parts added up to for the Nismo conversion, I decided to go with Shine Auto's rep. and its fitment is spot on!
