Need more pictures.

A little bit further away.

An over all shot.

Not so close to the roof.

Thanks

wow this is a really really clean installation.
I've never actually thought about the Z with a sunroof :P

spearfish25 08-26-2009 07:06 PM

I'd love a sunroof to open up the interior feel. This looks really well done. After hearing good long term results I'd definitely consider it.

Shunya 08-26-2009 07:07 PM

I wonder how much this would cost to do, it seems quite expensive.
I can seriously consider this since I'm not gunna track the Z i dun think.

He said "$995.00. I did alot of research, all of the dealers were charging this much with some asking for $1200.00."

Again, it's nice to know this is possible!

I would like a report in like 6 months or so to see how it's holding up over time.

And more pictures of the whole car

<--- Waiting for a T-Top conversion kit.. (Please someone make one!) .. The chopped photo of the 370 with T-top looks so awesome.

StLRedrider 08-26-2009 10:26 PM

it's not too bad

Webasto makes good stuff. Good choice dude.

As others have said it's not my cup of tea, but since it was yours, it looks like you got a mighty clean install!

RCZ 08-26-2009 11:11 PM

Not my thing, but I have wondered about what it would be like to have a magical sunroof that doesnt sacrifice rigidity...looks like you did a good job though!

jpit 08-26-2009 11:25 PM

If you saw the thin piece of steel removed to install the sunroof you wouldn't worry about reducing rigidity. The installer who seemed quite knowledgable stated that the sunroof actually added strength to the roof.

onethreefive 08-26-2009 11:28 PM

Looks good.
