3M doublesided tape should be able to hold it up no problem. Make sure the temperature if not too cold...the adhesive works better when it is hot.

Double sided tape alone will NOT hold it for very long. You will scrape it and lose it on the freeway.

You need to bolt it down with at least 2 bolts on the center and 1 bolt on each side.

Do it right the first time and you will save money in the long run.

I used the brackets and screws. tried 3M double sided (red kind) seems to be holding fine.

Better to work on it with bumper off or on jacks.
Tape quality is a big deal. I heat up my tape and use a starting agent or whatever that's called.
One L bracket is enough but had two before I tore my first one on a curb.
Test fit multiple times.
You may have to double layer in some areas depending on your lip.
Put a pc of aluminum sheet to protect it from scraping.
Get help if you need someone to lift into place. Hard to take off once you set in place.
I don't recommend screwing or riveting your fronts. Ok to screw on the sides where it mounts on the fender.

Good luck.

When i got the lip i deff had to do some preping. busted out the porter cable sander (which by the way is badass). but i fixed some little issues and sent it over to the paint shop. My buddy came over with some primer (glue type) we put on the lip side, let that try for 5 min then put the double sided tape on the lip first. Everything seems ok now

Its on there pretty solid now

All ready scraped the very bottom (you cant see it) of the driver side. Im sitting just 3 inches from the lip to the ground, but i may raise the car a little.

waat beemaz said.

i used VHB but still it struggled to keep up with the downforce even with the little Ings+.
I went back and added screws/washers/nuts and no issue since.

Do JDM bumpers come with install instructions?

Ordered a lip from Bulletproof Auto and was wondering if it will be self explanatory or will I have to drill extra holes through the lip for the screws. Really hoping for the former *fingerscrossed*
