Tape quality is a big deal. I heat up my tape and use a starting agent or whatever that's called. One L bracket is enough but had two before I tore my first one on a curb. Test fit multiple times. You may have to double layer in some areas depending on your lip. Put a pc of aluminum sheet to protect it from scraping. Get help if you need someone to lift into place. Hard to take off once you set in place. I don't recommend screwing or riveting your fronts. Ok to screw on the sides where it mounts on the fender. Good luck.
