Just wondering; do you reheat the headlight to soften silicone before putting them back together or do you apply a new bead and call it a day?

Yes after paint and reassembly I put them back into the oven..heat to 290* F and turn off. Put headlight in for 8 min. Pull it out and squeeze it back together and install the screws to hold it tight. After it cools off then I apply silicone

dont leave the cooking pan in the oven when its warming up. Put it in with the headlight at the same time....or it will be too hot and melt the headlight

Is this matte or gloss?

Doing mine soon as well and was thinking of doing it similarly. Any other ideas for the shrouds?
