you need to make a collar and place it under the boot to raise it.

you know those plastic packaging rings that comes with wire shelves? i keep those cause it's perfect for making those collars. hahaha.

Home Depot or Lowe's. It's called a ballcock shank washer, I believe

DeEePiDDy's 09 Chicane Yellow 370z Journal

and here is a nice DIY for it

yah, but he first needs to raise the boot from under and then use either the modded shank washer or the metal finisher edub posted.

damn, i can't find a pict online of the plastic packaging collar for wireshelves. they work perfectly for this.

I always wonder how big they feel in your palm. PWJDM V2 is too small for me.

yah, i had the v2 myself, beemaz. i didnt like it. it slipped out of my hand too many times going into 2nd and 4th due to the egg shape at the top of the knob.

i run a TWM TypeR (biggie) now. pretty much a flat top with nice radius. weight is nice too.

it's actually a team voodoo pearl knob. has a clear coat over the metal, which is nice for 2 reasons,

1) no bare metal in hot sun
2) matches the interior silver perfectly

best knobs for the price imo. can find em here

In your first pic, remove that plastic ring at the bottom of the thread. I have this issue with my PW:JDM shift knob. Felt dumb afterwards. Even when I have the collar on it still sat fairly high.
