The side markers pop out in 3 seconds or less.

Push them towards the rear of the car, and you can pull the front side out, and it just pops out.

After that, its a matter of tapping off, and painting.

In this case, the 'Z' in the center of the marker was removed, they are just stuck on with gum adhesive, and pop right off with a flat head (gently of course).

Taking it out makes it easier to paint, and then tape off the rest of the marker without it there.

I actually didn't know any of this before hand, so I had purchased a brand new OEM pair of markers off eBay as guinea pigs $50 shipped, just in case I ruined something in the process.

I also want to do the door handles. Was debating on dipping them, but I think I'd rather have more permanent paint, and I liked how everything else came out going factory matched.
