New Veilside Bumper Released! Thoughts?

Although I haven't heard much buzz, Veilside Japan is saying that they have been bombarded with requests to create a Version 2 front bumper for the Z34. Definitely different than anything else on the market with trademark Veilside over the top styling. Pictures came out in Japanland last week.

I'm interested to see what people think, its something else for sure. The bumper somehow makes the car look a foot wider up front

vomit

LostSol 10-02-2013 06:51 PM

Its not that I don't like the style, but that opening is tiny and will restrict airflow to an already over hot engine bay

Nope. Not groovy with it.

Mr&Mrs 10-02-2013 06:53 PM

Its ok, reminds me of their 350z kit. They are without a doubt over the top, love it, or hate it! I at the least respect them for their bawls.

ka24king 10-02-2013 06:58 PM

It's interesting but I bet it's crazy expensive

gurneyeagle 10-02-2013 07:08 PM

It looks like something designed by people that have run out of ideas.

Pass.

That is by far the foulest thing I've ever seen done to a Z.

XiP 10-02-2013 08:29 PM

are those 4 holes at the bottom for lights?

NismoZ70 10-02-2013 08:31 PM

Yikes! Please no! That's horrible!

Rusty 10-02-2013 08:39 PM

On the plus side. It's got brake duct openings. Now the negative. :shakes head: The grille opening needs to be bigger, and pulled backed. It sticks out to far.

Your list of negatives fails to include the fact that the kit is ******* horrendous.

There's no need to when it's that bad. And since it's Veilside, it will be expensive, too.

Bend over and spread them. Going in dry. So bite the big one. Not even a reach around. That expensive? LMAO

If the intent of the kit is to appear "over the top" for photo shoots - then go for it.

If they intend to generate revenue by selling these to customers, I recommend taking a design path that accentuates the aesthetics of the car and does not include openings that look like they need plastic missiles to complete the Gobot look.

karotZ 10-03-2013 12:21 AM

It "might" look good on a different colored Z, and probably with Nismo sides and rear and a GT wing. It's not the best looking but mean looking. It does remind me of an RX-8.

FairladyZ10PG 10-03-2013 12:26 AM

I think it'll look better in black.

DEpointfive0 10-03-2013 12:48 AM

What in the holy hell is coming out of Japan nowadays???

axmea? 10-03-2013 01:51 AM

More work to do here. Is this the final product? Black out the opening, put a mesh grille, carve and reshape the quad circular vents. Right now Fuji, Amuse, Zele......and may I add the new Ings+1 Nismo-ish bumper are better. On the bright side, it does look stout and aggressive. As for the skirt, the squared off edge where it merges to the rear fenders does not flow with the rest of the car nor the bumper.

Hope you guys are open to feedback 'cause so far, the reaction has been not so good. We're a critical bunch.

SCOOBY JOE 10-03-2013 01:56 AM

well one thing is for sure, is that no one will replicate this body kit lol

Ahahahahahaha!!! I've made better kits on Need for Speed Underground! People are gonna pay for that?! That makes my heart hurt.

simota1 10-03-2013 06:21 AM

as much as im a jdm freak... i dont like this kit... even on the 350z... i hate this kit no offense... and on top of that... i hate how they kept the vents on the side like the 350z.... our cars are 370z's not 350z's they should have reworked it... not make it look like they chopped the 350z to fit the 370z veilside kit...

simota1 10-03-2013 06:22 AM

on top of that it makes the z's look like they are pouting

eastwest2300 10-03-2013 07:03 AM
