Nissan Z logo to replace Hamburger yet?

Do we have anyone who is making a replacement "Z" for the Nissan Hamburger yet? There were rummors of them being made but I have yet to see any make it to the light of day. They are available for the 350Z but the one on the back of the 370Z is too small for the 350Z one (front works though)

molamann 08-13-2009 12:48 AM

Waiting on one myself also.

Cjanik 08-13-2009 08:03 AM

Chupacabra 08-13-2009 08:29 AM

I'll have pics for you as soon as my car is back. The only issue is the badge is fractionally larger than the recess. You can still use the solid emblem, it will just attach to the surface rather than the sunken in part. I've cut a 1/8" filler if needed. The front, as noted, is fine...

Where did you get your logos from ModShack?

Would that happen to be a blue sidemarker I see there? If so....I like!

FricFrac 08-13-2009 02:35 PM

I would be interested in a hood emblem that lights up. Maybe we can use some sort of inductive coil so you don't need to wire through the hood....

Side markers - nice

Z emblems - ugly. Scratch that - fugly. I want plain and simple. Just the Z logo in the circle in chrome.

More like this but in chrome.

Plasmaball 08-13-2009 06:09 PM

they easy to replace?

FricFrac 08-13-2009 06:15 PM

They are just held on with double sided tape. Remove with hair dryer and fishing line....

Cjanik 08-13-2009 06:30 PM

Just remember, blue and red are not allowed in the front of a car, due to impersonating a police officer or something of the sort. If it was on a switch, that would be fine if you only turn it on when parked or on private property.

thats what killed the windshield washer lights so fast.

A blue sidemarker wouldnt be reason to get stopped.....or would it? I think it'd look awesome with the blue kickplates! ;)

I would like the one in the second picture, top left. Don't care for the lighting up.

Unfortunately, a blue side marker will be a reason to be stopped. The only color lights allowed to be emitted from your car are, white, red, and amber/orange. no white in the rear unless you are going in reverse, and no red in the front whatsoever. Amber can be anywhere.

Darn! Well, I like the blue sidemarker idea.....I guess it could be used if you're going to strictly use the car as a show car.

I had blue sidemarkers on my Audi for 4 years....Never an issue here..

FuszNissan 08-14-2009 10:33 PM

Are there ones you can change the color from inside the car

BMW Killa 08-14-2009 10:39 PM

Just something "Z" related to replace the front and rear hamburger would be nice.
I wouldn't want to get too flashy with the side markers, who needs people getting distracted while youre trying to merge?

I like the silver one in the bottom of the 2nd picture. Looks like it should go nicely with the Brilliant Silver!

molamann 10-27-2009 10:26 PM

Any updates on the hamburger replacement? D:

frost 10-27-2009 10:29 PM

It's amazing how vendors produce crap we don't want and no one buys, but then when we tell vendors exactly what we want ... nothing.

The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts: Rear Emblem, Carbon Fiber Base, 2009 370Z

that is a nice Z with Carbon fiber background from one of our sponsors. They are availbable for both front and rear. It looks like they got a side marker and put a CF back on it. Looks good IMO.

kenchan 10-28-2009 09:59 AM

how's the fitment on those zstore ones?

bullitt5897 10-28-2009 10:57 AM

shoot while my car is in the shop I am having my rear one filled in and fully shaved :D No emblem FTW!

Crappy was an understatement, they looked horrible. I'd rather http://www.the370z.com/members/frost...70-suicide.gif than put that on my car.

KaienZ34 11-06-2009 10:45 PM

I couldn't bring myself to put them on for real, but i did throw them on there over the nissan hamburger just to see...It's still not what i'm looking for but i hate the nissan ones. Why can't they just be stuck on like the 370Z badges. I think the best look for the front atleast is nothing there total slick and smooth. I asked some body shops if they could just fill it in or something, none thought it would look good for long. They said it would crack a long the edges and look bad not to far down the line, but would still do it if i want. Sorry so long here's some pics. of Z emblems front and rear

I think they would look better on MB or PG sweat my 2cents

NXTAZEE 11-06-2009 11:49 PM

I have them, just don't have a Z to put them on yet. As far as them looking better on PG, I would have to agree. It looks good with the blue as well.

vipor 11-07-2009 01:58 AM

def need a different color for PW. i wanna see a filled it one to compare :D

Forrest 11-08-2009 11:30 PM

i was thinking about getting the carbon fiber ones to put on my magnetic black but there 80 dollars a pop so not sure if i want to go through with it.

370Zsteve 11-09-2009 05:45 AM
