Honestly with your girls weighing so little they are probably fairly short. with that being the case they might be better off having the airbag off anyway.

My thoughts exactly. I have my reservations about airbags and small adults/children.

Mine does this sometimes as well to my fiance. She is 5'7 and 120lbs though... sometimes it lights up, sometimes it doesnt. Does concern us.

That's a great point I had not considered! What is the height cutoff? If I go on a long trip may be time for the helmet and pads lol.

there have been studies that have stated anyone shorter than 5'2" and less than 120 pounds should sit far back with the seat tilted to best avoid contact with the airbag.
