Default Ebay Sunline Replica Urethane Lip Installed/review

I ordered this lip from ebay for $120 shipped, a real bargain at the time.

Shipment: It arrived quickly with VERY POOR packing, single layer cardboard and bubble wrap. 4 S shape metal clips and screws.

Quality: Urethane material, kinda wobbly, almost twice as thick as the oem lip but nowhere as firm. But it seems to resist more to cracking because it is quite flexible.

Fitment: I had to use my heat gun for about 2 hours and give it proper shape, when it came it did not properly fit into the bumper, specially in the middle part. Due to the material itself, it can bend with enough force.

Finish: Some spots required sanding and cutting off excess plastic.

Overall rating 3/5
If it wasnt for the mediocre shipping method and poor fitment, I would totally recomment it, but for the price I cannot really complaint. If you want a cheap lip, this is not a bad choice.

I used 3M brand auto glass urethane and 2 screws with thread lock at each side. Forget double side tape, this urathane silicone is awesome and the lip sticks firmly to the bumper., I'm sure it wont come off easily... Then after some sanding I applied few coats of plastidip, which didnt came out so great.. first time plastidipper...

The best thing about this lip, it does not sit lower than your stock underlip (sports version), and with stock height you have good clearance.

Wheels look nice, plasti-dipped?

Nice job getting it to fit

I would definitely recommend getting it painted and not leaving it PD'd

Yeah I know it is easy and all but I personally cannot stand the look of plasti-dip... looks like you have 5 decades of brake dust on the wheels and lip.

What is going on with the front pillar? Is that plastidip or unpainted?

Wheels were painted with matte dark gunmetal... Done 8 months ago

A pillar is covered with matte black vinyl... done 4 months ago

Front bumper middle is satin matte black... done almost a year ago

I'm planning to paint them with the same matte black.
