ya thats happened to me b4 i was pissed !!!!!

If the dealer just drilled holes in the divots that are already in the black plastic part of the bumper, not a big deal. They can be covered with little plastic plugs for a couple bucks and not be noticeable.
But, I have seen them run long screws through the plate and bracket and the tips from the screws gouge the bumper cover. I told the dealer that I would not buy a car with that damage done to it. Numbskulls.... |

I'd be ******* pisssed and they'd be painting my bumper. |
Yeah, I think I'd demand they repair and repaint the bumper. You're right, that's just plain ignorant. Mine has a black plastic deal that the plate screws into. We don't have the option of leaving off the front plate in Cali.

A friend of mine had the same thing happen-dealer drilled holes etc...he ended up w a new bumper, no holes. So it IS possible...

I hate it when you show up to the dealer in this case ANY dealer. Audi, BMW, Chevy, Dodge, etc and you see nothing but tattood up thugs in the back area about to work on your baby. **** happens all the time.
Not surprised because their has always been some sort of correlation between mechanics and low income individuals. Not saying all mechanics are low income persons. And not stating that low income persons are thugs. I was low income for a long time. Rant closed. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 |

Another Ohio member, Danegrey, got Nissan to replace his bumper after the dealer drilled holes in it. Worth a try ;)

I bought the car a year and a half ago. It's probably way too late for that by now. Ill settle for putting my experience out there every chance I get.
