this is my first time changing bumpers or anything of that sort with any car. i didnt know you had to get additional parts asides from the bumper itself. i know the front lip comes separate from the front bumper but i didnt know there was other parts like what you mentioned, "under body cover panel". i thought the bumper came with everything it needs to be installed including bolts/brackets or w/e. i thought it was simple as; remove stock bumper, install new bumper, install lip.

hmmm, so basically we're looking @ a little less than 1g for the parts and components to have the Nismo front bumper & Nismo front lip & the additional parts that are necessary for installation right?

Last time I checked on the 370z the lip was part of the bumper itself. It was just part of the design like mine is. So it's all one piece. But yes, there are many pieces that are required to mount the bumper properly. Without that bottom cover on, (I have had mine off before to work under it), the front bumper flexes a great deal in the center that is a little scary to drive around like that as it would flap I would think.

ohh ok. yea hopefully the whole front bumper/lip is 1 piece. so basically we'll have to purchase the (1)front bumper with the attached lip & (2) bottom cover.

correct?

The lip, bumper and under tray are 3 separate pieces... I was just at the dealership last night and got a real close look at both the front and rear bumpers.

For the most part they have the same mounting points that I can tell so I think your regular brackets front and rear should work just fine. So that leaves the parts to be purchased as front bumper, Front lip and Front under spoiler...

So no info on the spoiler yet?

I just found out that the bumper is one piece folks. The Bumper, and LIP is one piece. My friend the parts manager is still looking up the parts, but he got the NISMO Bumper cover part and the cost of is was only in the $250~ range. This was the NISMO Bumper as he helped me 2 years ago get all the parts for the 07. But he did mention the side skirts are expensive around $500~ or so he showed each side. Once he gets the list made up, he will be updating me.

Geez, how can a bumper (front or rear) be under 300 and one side skirt is 500. Well I like the stock side skirts, but the front/rear bumpers are a nice upgrade.

woot thats a relief! less parts to buy means less money to spend. so im basically gonna be getting the whole nismo front piece along with the under tray. im gonna save the rear bumper for later. my main concern is the front.

thanks for the info Nismoz. keep us updated and let me know the exact prices and when is it available. thanks again ;)

Okay here we go. Attached is the part number list that he found which is different from the 370z vs the NISMO 370z. The one thing he is checking with Nissan Corp is the $1100 cover that is under the engine which was different and wondering if that is correct. He had to contact his supplier at Nissan on most of these to get all of them.

The actual metal bumper support is replaced on the 370z front and rear on this model. So that also adds to the cost now vs the older one.
