most likely. every single nismo replica for the 350z, all three versions by all companies (V1, V2, V3) didnt not account for the different undertrays. They simply copied nismo bumpers as is and therefore needed nismo undertrays. If one or two companies actually worked around this, im not aware of it, but i had quite a few nismo bumpers, two versions, on multiple 350zs. just my experience

I talked to a guy at godspeed today. They said it shouldnt be any different for the undertray or fenders but if it is, it requires very little modification. I'm putting a $400 deposit on a kit next week and then paying it off when i get home from my deployment in 3 weeks.

I'm making the down payment now but i dont know when ill be able to pay it off in full, i still need to order spark plugs and the rest of the nitrous parts. Also spring is coming soon and i have to finish the work on my ZX6R and get that tuned. Good news is i can get my whole care re-painted for $1500 at the shop on the base. Trying to decide if i should keep it the grey color or go black.

I wouldnt do black..well not Nissan's black. Scratches appear out of nowhere and really stand out :( Getting mine painted QAB Pearl white next month ;)

If he gets a re-paint the paint should be harder than Nissan's paint. Heck, you could get better paint letting your 4 year old use a rattle can.

Im not quite sure about that one... haha But yes, the paint should be better. I could actually dig my nail into the 350's white paint..thats sad. So horribly sad

Well i paid the 400 today, it will either be March 15th or 31st when i pay the rest and it ships. I'm going to be painted it to match the black that will be on my ZX6R once i replace the fairings.

Mike@Blackline 02-16-2010 07:10 PM

if you guys are getting your whole car repainted, why do it something OEM?

Snakes709 02-16-2010 08:45 PM

If you read my post above yours i never said i was getting a OEM color, i said i was matching it with the color my ZX6R will be when i replace my broken fairings.

Here some options, I kind of like the orange, like the old Datsun 240's, maybe someday. Although every car I have ever owned has been black or dark gray LOL got to match my wardrobe, no color.

Doesnt sound like the guy at Godspeed has read this thread:tiphat:. There is certainly a difference in the non-nismo and nismo in terms of fitment and parts needed. Since Godspeed is offering a credit for installed pictures they obviously have never fit this kit to a non-nismo. They probably just copied the Nismo panels and called it a day. Refer back in this thread to posts by Greed, HuslterX5, and Chuck05 and they all confirm the fender liners (part#H5064-1A47A + H5065-1A47A) and lower diffuser (part#F2026-1A47A) are a must for proper OEM-like fitment of the Nismo fascia. If you can live without the fender liners and the gap OK, but our factory plastic undertray (the thing removed when doing oil changes) can only bolt the the Nismo bumper if you get the lower diffuser.

Now the rear bumper is a different story...dont think anyone has made the conversion yet.

exactly my point. so really it sounds like this godspeed kit isnt going to cut any corners or save any money in terms of buying the required stuff to do this correctly. maybe even cost more in the end
