Headlight flickers when downshifting to 3rd gear

More than likely a loose/dirty connector or bad wire. Unplug all the connectors going to the light, check for dirt/corrosion, clean as needed, plug back in. If it still happens, try wiggling the wiring with the lights on.

I'll try that, I was suppose to have it looked at today but got too lazy. Thanks, I'm hoping it's like just what you said, a lose wire/connection.
