People Suck (except for the ones here)

So some a**hole hit me in the parking lot while i was shopping the other day. Didnt leave much damage but its very noticeable. Im sure i need a completely new bumper but with my insurance deductible being $500 Im near positive I can just buy a new one for cheaper. The point of this post is more because Im kinda looking to see if anyone is down to pay it forward. If anyone has replaced their rear bumper and has one they are willing to part with let me know. If anyone has any other advice I am more than open to it.

Heres a picture of the damage:

You look awful lot like a guy for what I assume to be a girl, lol

Sorry about what happened but convince SSfirehawk that he needs a body kit and you can have his! (Although he's deployed right now)

schiet. that sucks. sorry to see this.

check in the for sale section. you might get lucky and find someone selling their factory bumper.

maybe nismo bumper or aftermarket bumper to your liking? insurance would pay up to an oem painted bumper, so you pitch in the rest.

Welcome to the club. :hello: Someone did a hit-and-run on my back bumper shortly after I got the car.

I have the old bumper and you are welcome to it, but it has a spot that is just as bad as yours. And it's Solid Red. And it's an '09. :icon14:

a while back, a woman rear ended my Mercedes. I called the bumper repair guy and he was able to fix it like new. I knew where the damage was but I couldn't find it after he was done. maybe you should call one of those guys and see if they could fix your bumper.

Just wanted to give my approval for the title of this thread. Nothing car related for me, but I'm having the exact sentiment towards a lot of people at work today...

The other thing about it is damage that may exist underneath the bumper. Not as simple as getting a new rear fascia.

I'd like to help but I just don't hand my @ss over to anyone, I'm pretty sure my Wife will reclaim it. JK. I like the stock rear bumper lol. An option, though not the greatest is to take out a small loan for the deductible. I don't recommend payday loans unless you can pay it off quickly. As in within a month. If you can come up with partial, then borrow the rest, you may be able to cover it. Idk. I would eat Ramen and cut back on expenses if need be. I did that payday **** once when I got $hit trashed at a Bachelor party and spent my rent money on strippers and alcohol. I paid it in two weeks. Good luck regardless.
