ive used testor's paint thinner for metalized paint to remove nightshades in the past.
test it on a piece of plastic away from your car first to see. one would have to spray gloss over it though to make it look nice. well, unless the matte/satin look is preferred. overlay would be my choice too. on my dd im running overlay on my taillamp. looks great. |
