Default Dash Cut/Gash Repair?

Wasnt sure if this fits more in the DIY section or not but when I purchased the vehicle 2 weeks or so ago I didnt notice the slash in the dash board.
But as im aware of it now im wondering if there is some sort of remedy/coverup I can do to fix it as im assuming this wouldnt be covered under any warranty. Any ideas short of replacing the dash?

Looks pretty small. Give it a few weeks. You'll forget it's even there.

Some detail shops or upholstery shops will do that kind of repair. It can be done (and look pretty good) but there is a learning curve to do it right. You might have to ask around your town.

I can remember growing up seeing the repair kits advertised on TV and for sale at drug stores / K Mart, etc. I think it was becasue everyone smoked & had pleather sofas that they would burn holes in!
