tried ordering on the website but it says exceeded number of 370z knob?!?

I've got this exact knob on my twm. You're going to really dig it. Perfect balance, imo. btw- if you want pictures of how low/high it sits, let me know.

First time seeing that knob... I like it!

only problem with me is that i cant get the stock shiftknob off

Some are harder to get off than others. If you really want to get it off, pop the shifter ring off and clamp down on the shifter stalk under the knob with some pliars or some vice grips to prevent overtorquing the linkage to the tranny (you want to keep it straight as you torque the knob).

You can use an oil filter wrench or pliars, whatever to get the knob off, but just understand that the harder it is to get off, the more likely you are to damage the stock knob.

There are people that have had to completely destroy the stock knob to get it off.

i tried ordering it like 3 times last night? no bueno... i sourced it out through third gear performance.... he qouted me same price on PW site anybody order through this vendor?

You won't find it ,I called PWJDM and they only have it with their logo on it and the told me they weren't making any more any time soon.

They make allot of Honda/Acura parts so that's their bread and butter,I wanted to buy this first but I bought the ver. 1 I like it but it is a little to tall,I'm sure I read that some where before.:hello:

they are on ebay too and amazon, so i think you should be fine

ebay wants 157 bucks for the 6speed version :(

I have a TWM piston 6 speed if you want =)

you have no idea how many times ive looked at your knob man.... and the fact that it has the 6spd on it... so tempting... only thing is ive never owned a ball shaped knob always piston grip styles thats why i wanted to get this one...

I broke down and bought ver2 with the password logo and I'm having my paint shop paint the bottom piece to match the red threads,

And Simota this knob is so much better than ver 1 :tup:

im so close to giving in also :( must feel nice huh

I forgot to add that I'm removing the password logo and refinishing it back to SS but you won't see it.:tup:

Here you go Simota,I had my painters paint the base the same color as my car,and on the password knob I ground off the password logo and refinished the whole knob again,sorry about the pics (Iphone)

I too ordered directly from PWJDM. Odd that you are having problems. They had a thread awhile back talking about all the stuff they were gonna make for us and all we ended up getting was this shift knob. Seems like they bailed on our platform. Is it possible they arent producing it anymore??? Anyway here is a shot of mine just to make you jealous:icon17:

i'd like to order this shiftknob as well and i was wondering if anybody knows of a forum vendor that has those in stock cuz pwjdm takes forever

I got mine from PWJDM in 3 days.:tup:

and removed mine just as fast. lol i never could like that knob.

it's sitting on my workbench next to my other decorations. :D

I'll have one for sale soon. Mine is SS with black collar. It's like new, I bought it near the end of last season, and have barely driven the car since.

well i ordered one thru my local shop here and i waited 8 weeks where they told its gonna take 3 and now they even send the wrong one i ordered the 6speed pattern and they send the PWJDM one :mad:

When I ordered mine they didn't have the one with the 6sp on it so I oredered the password one and just removed the writing.(see post 26)

just to let everyone know..... i actually acquired that same knob on the first pic of this thread.... even with a red base and 6 speed engraved.... since ive gotten a tommy kaira knob im going to sell it..... pm me if your interested... they are pretty hard to find and i was just lucky to get one for myself
