Hood struts for CF hood?

I was roaming around the web and i couldn't find any hood strut for a cf hood. Is really any kind of this in the market?? A good quality strut that would not tear in two pieces the CF hood?

I wouldn't suggest using struts with a cf hood. You may encounter issues with the fiberglass core not holding up over time. If it's dry carbon, I'm not too sure.

I would suggest using the standard hood prop.

We have had the Z1 hood struts installed on several carbon fiber hoods with no complaints. We use a lower pressure than most on the market to avoid hood bulge and also keep it from flying up too fast.
