aha , i used to have similar ones on my 350z (bought from ebay), one month later i went back to the stock mirors...

Just out of curiosity for anyone that has these mirrors or even the craftsquare, why does the mirror stalk come out of the mounting plate on a bulge that looks detached? Not only that but you can see the nut holding the stalk from inside the car. Why not just have a clean cover with the mirror coming out of it much like the stock mirror does.
The mirror and stalk are adjustable so set forward a few inches shouldn't matter. |
"part that looks detached"?....are you talking about the black part or the silver part? The silver part houses the ball joint. As far as seeing the nut from the inside...I believe its so you can adjust/tighten settings without taking the whole door off again.

On a similar thought, I wish the Z would have come with mirrors like the GT-R which I think would have matched the car better, both in looks and mounting style. |
hmm, i think i like these
i wonder what they look like in person |
Here are some off my car:
Big thanks to Evo-R for these awesome mirrors. I have more install pics I will post later. Once adjusted the mirrors work great, I don't miss the stock mirrors at all, mirrors have a slight concavity so no longer do I have any issues with blind spots etc. Got tons of compliments on them as well. https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...55953396_o.jpg https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...71494594_o.jpg https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...30020669_o.jpg https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...24090708_o.jpg https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...82575497_o.jpg https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...56461511_n.jpg https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...08717150_o.jpg https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...08930587_o.jpg https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...82575497_o.jpg https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...45220402_n.jpg |
These mirrors do look great but good luck getting ahold of them to purchase a set. I've sent a couple e-mails inquiring about them with no response.

damn martin you made me fall in love with those mirrors.....
no kidding! Those look nice!
what gets me about these is.... they have a nicer base than the craftsquares... the craftsqaures are so flat :( the lines of this base is like the oem mirror sort off
Sorry guys for no reply. I have them in stock ready to go
Martin thanks for great photos
Are they available in a black base and can you PM me a price shipped to 06040. They are displayed on your website but there is no link to add them to the cart.
I'm still offering $359 shipped. Free shipping. In stock
FYI, these were tested to 152mph!! No folding! Just gotta tighten everything down!
I love my mirrors thanks again guys.
Let me know when your gonna get a Nismo front lip started I'm all in on that one as well. |

:yum: Been eyeing these for a while now. Might have to jump on them.

I forgot to upload these pics of my install.
very easy to do, I was able to just pry off the top of the side door by removing 1 bolt only and gave me enough access. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...41495563_n.jpg Pulled open the top only, unclip the harness/electrical shown: https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...19143844_n.jpg removed the triangle trim https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...32024256_n.jpg Remove 3 nuts and remove the mirrors, then remove trim, and put the EvoR mirrors back on, don't forget to add the triangle trim on the inside (not pictured here): https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...62556048_n.jpg Just make sure to tighten up everything up to minimize any shake on the mirrors etc. Install is VERY easy. |
Thanks man. Will install mine this weekend.
Could you drive around town with these mirrors or is it just for track use? i.e. does it reduce visibility versus stock mirrors?
The mirrors have a wider angle but narrower height, once adjusted properly I can see better than stock due to wide angle.
There are nice I might do this later.
Just got mine...As soon as I finish color-matching the bases Ill install them with pics.
Martin, Thanks for the info
No problem, everyone loves the mirrors!
Are there any plans of producting a design that hinges at the corners without the stem, like the other type of Craftsquare mirrors?

I painted the bases and got it all installed. I do have one question, why or what is the purpose of the black tape your instructions call for?
Nice, on the bottom part of mirro base used to have a rubber seal from stock mirror to cover a very small line. So this black tape is to cover that part.
mirrors held on fine on a nice drift lol:
