Shine Auto/ Aero Jacket Rear Spat Install Help

Worked on test fitting my rear spats yesterday and today and have a few questions for those who have installed these before. If anyone could provide some insight it would be appreciated.

1) I think I've positioned the spats in the right spot, but I'm only able to use the top screw mount in the wheel well. Is this normal? Has anyone come up with an alternative method to use the lower mount? I've added some pics below for a location reference.
2) I thought I saw somewhere that members have fabricated a bottom mount for these connecting the stock 10 mm bolt hole and the bottom of the spat. Has anyone seen this recently to point me in the right direction? I've looked all over and cant seem to locate it.

Mine were the same way somewhat. You might have to drill your own hole in the inner fenderwell part. It is best to make a braket in the form of a Z shape to bolt to the spats to the stock under carage. I have a hole new rear bumper so I don't run them anymore.

Well it's been awhile, but I finally had the chance to install my rear spats today. I'm using one of the stock screws in the wheel well, created a "z" shaped bracket to hold the bottom and 3M tape to hold everything else on. Everything seem to be holding on well, but there are couple places where the spat and the bumper separate. I was thinking about using some clear silicone adhesive to fill in these small gaps, but wanted to see if anyone else was doing this? If not, what have you done to fill the gaps? Any help will be appreciated.

As another quick update, i woke up this morning to the spats sagging alittle. That said it seems that 3M tape alone wont do the trick. Im contemplating taking off my rear bumper so i can use clamps to hold the pieces on tightly for an extended amount of time, but it seems taking the bumper off isnt the easiest task to do. Again if anyone has installed these before some insight would be appreciated.

may i suggest using the adhesion promotor for 3m double stick tape? that stuff works wonders.... once it makes contact it aint coming off.... its a small packet and when you open it its like a yellow sponge.... tape off the parts you dont want it touching because it WILL leave a risidue

or you can use a windshield silicone on the spats... thats what i used... fair warning though... theyre never gonna come apart.. they will be permanent... thats why when i sold my rear.. the guy automatically got my rear spats even if he didnt want it... i couldnt separate them lol

I searched for the promoter and none of the local auto stores had it. I have the clear silicone so guess ill try that. Thanks for the input.

Alright, well ive officially been able to mount the spats, but im still having a hell of a time keeping the point attached to the car. That said i think im just going to put a few screws throught the upper lip and try to mount them as flush as possible to the body. Figured i would paint them matte back to match my wheels and continue on with my color scheme, plus i think matte black looks great on my 40th quartz color. Im not the biggest fan of this approach but i think it will look good in the end. My guess is i will put three screws through each side. I will update with pics later tonight or tomorrow, after i reinstall the rear bumper.

where do you get this 3m adhesion promoter from? nevermind, found it on amazon. I bought some VHB 3m tape, hope that it works.

I had to use a couple of screws for the ends of the addons closer to the muffler. the fitment of mine left a bit to be desired.

I used some tapered screws and filled them in, then just painted them with some color-matched paint.
