The Z store has carbon fiber/silver backed emblems and the regular "Z" emblems but no black ones. They have black pearl for the 350 but not for the 370.

Hopefully, the OP will do a run of black pearl metallic Z front/back emblems because I'm definitely down.

I looked at the ones on the Z store but held off after reading a couple threads where people were disappointed in the fitment. They look like really nice emblems otherwise.

There's a trick with the emblems from the z store. For the sealant to bond, you need to strap it down hard with duct tape (over electric tape) and let it cure for a day or so.

I got two from them. The first one didn't take. 2nd one I was super careful and let it cure for 2 days before removing the tape and it would take an act of god to get it off at this point.

I wonder if heating the plastic on the bumper, and the adhesive on the back of the emblem just prior to mounting would help in this?

I would like to order some as well, but I get no response from EVO-R. Last question; any word on when the Zstore will get them?

Think I got the backing plate thing sorted out with EVO-R the other day so hopefully they're on the way. I'll post some pics as soon as I get them.

The problem is that your bumper is curved while the emblem is not. The OEM hamburger is held in place by 2 posts and then glued plus it's about a thousand times more flexible than the z34 emblem.

It can be done. That sealant is unbreakable once it takes hold.

Which emblem? The EVOR, or the OEM and the EVOR?

The OEM badge is more flexible than the EVOR badge?

Well, I knew it was going to be like this when I ordered the emblems. My personal target delivery date is 31 December (year yet to be determined).

BTW - I don't buy the bullsh#t these vendors post that "they are busy". They all live on their phones texting all day and updating their facebook status anyway. Just pizz poor communication skills. Their business models are based on "over-promise/under-deliver". :stirthepot:

Guys. Sorry for no update. I'm currently in Los Angeles getting ready for Sevenstock 15. I did not bring my laptop so it's hard to work with an iPhone. Update on the emblems. We are waiting to have the rear 3m adhesive custom cut. Otherwise the chrome and black emblems are ready to go. I should be starting to ship them out when I get back to office next week. Thanks.

Just filed a dispute through paypal since I have yet to receive my item even after I canceled my order 2 days after ordering after learning holes would have to be filled.. If I had known about needing bodywork I would not have ordered. At this point I only want my money back.. The communication with this guy has been horrible and I will never do this sort of buying again unless they have a proven track record... Please refund my money as I have already requested!!!!!

My emblems just shipped - received tracking in my email. Shipping via Chunghwa post (assuming that's mainland china).

Refund made. You do not need to fill int bumper to install this. This is why we make a back plate for them.

For the ones that are ordered without the backplate you do... Thanks for my refund and just for the record I didnt want to file a dispute through paypal but you left me no choice due to your lack of communication..

Zstore will soon offer for people want the rear to have the same color as the bumper. So no need to fill in bumper. You still need a back plate in your bumper color

Thanks Jay for the update. I figured if I don't care for the CF back plate, I'll just spray it body color to match. Not a big deal to do :tiphat:

I just received my black ones with silver carbon back. Came in good shape no issues. Now I'm just figuring out if I'm going to do this myself or take it to a shop.

And mine still show "customs clearance". This is getting annoying.

Seriously? You can't do something simple like pulling the emblems and sticking
on the new ones?

I had this issue and actually received my emblems before the customs information was ever updated. I would assume that you'll be receiving yours early next week.

Not a matter of not being able to do...just being lazy =). The Nissan Hamburgers are annoying to take off as well, they indented the stupid emblems. I just don't want to scratch the paint.

Mine says "Item processed at postal facility". So I should see it Monday-Tuesday.
