Front Bumper replacement

Has anybody had to replace their front bumper? If so, how much did it cost?

Some A%$hole cut me off and it was either the curb, or half way through the bed of his S-10 pickup. The bumper is intact, but it flexed and the paint is cracked in multiple places.

I have a $1000 deductible but I'm expecting I can keep it off insurance.

So angry...

Mine is going on as we speak. About $350 for the part + Paint + labor

Front bumper $350, to paint (materials and labor) Probably $350 for a well done job.

BUT Your bumper. It sounds like it can be fixed from what I have read. Id say if you wanted it repaired and refinished you’d be paying instead of $700, probably $500 - 600.

Which is way better than purchasing a new one because it will match better because instead of repainting the whole bumper which most people know the chance of a perfect match is 1 in 10 or less. Refinishing the current one would just consist of painting the damaged area, blending it with the rest of the paint, and clear coating the entire bumper.

I know this because I’ve worked at a few body shops and have done plenty of body work and paint myself. IF you have any questions please PM me and Ill help with anything.

Sometimes you just get lucky (or in this case I picked the best shop in town). Just got my car back an hour ago. New nose, new hood, new paint. They did a great job IMO..
