It almost looks warped but like you said there's no flex. Like it warped downward on the ends, kinda into a C shape. Maybe it happened in transit somehow? I have the Evo-R high wing and lotta people said fitment was a little rough and it was but i wouldn't rate it terrible. I would have said 6-7/10 on fitment, all aftermarket usually requires a little work. If it is in fact to short as you say it is, then I would call it terrible fitment. I'm sure Evo-R will work something out for you to resolve this issue

Same exact case as before. Many people did not actually install it on and just place it on. Saying ti don't fit. If you don't push up the each end sides it won't line up. Also please do not line up above the curved in line. Got to be below it. From you photo you see you push it up too far up, then the sides won't fit in. Once all screw in on the correct position, it will fit right. Also we all now provide silicon adhesive to insure it stays on. So once applied use tape to hold it over night. On you car you have painted the center part in flat paint. 3M double side will not hold. So I do suggest you use silicon adhesive. I'll give you more detail photo where should line up.

I'd like to see pics as well. I can't get my FRP to fit, even trying to *not* fit it up into the groove (which I think is what Jay is talking about). The upper corners are an inch off the body - no way any amount of tape or silicone will hold them down.

Exactly. I either get a gap on top, or on the sides. I will try to install it as jay says and post more pictures. I have 3m polyurethane silicone which is much bettter than the one provided.

I have one from EVO in carbon and it looks great!!

Mine was a terrible fit. I actually cut it into thirds and re-carbon fibered the piece because it was off so much.

I dunno man, even with it lined up like you have in the picture, I can't imagine the OP is going to gain like a half inch on each side which is what it looks like it is lacking...

OP you should try mounting the top with double sided tape and line up as EVOR suggested to see what happens to the sides.

After 3 hours fighting with this piece I finally made it to fit -BARELY- by employing a very efficient method for fixing stuff the manly way, called brute force.

Because according to EVO-R directions, you basically use brute force to make it fit, and if it doesn't line up with where it should (the edge of the valance), you just have to deal with it, no matter if it looks awkward.

But of course, I had to use "more severe" fastening ways, the little screw just won't do the job. Drilled two additional holes below the first one, and added two pop rivets each side. I did not even touch the double sided tape because it won't do a thing, there is a 1/2" gap after I managed to secure both sides. So I generously applied 3M polyurethane silicone, and put some spacers between the exhaust tip and the diffuser so it stays in place.

I clarify: I've done everything possible to make it look like in the pictures, but still not looking properly. Although it does look a bit more respectable now, saying this will have a perfect or very good fit is a lie. I'm still not happy at all with the looks of this product, nor the instructions and materials supplied by the manufacturer. Many customers don't have the time for this and their only choice is to cut it in 3 pieces and re-build the diffuser, like stated by Perf.Des.


Right now I'm waiting for it to dry. Some pictrures meanwhile...

This is how passenger side looks after you fit the other side. So more brute force has been used. I thank God because my diffuser didn't crack apart. :bowrofl:
