STILLEN Front Fascia with Brake Air Cooling installed

finally I realized one of my long awaited exterior modification and installed the STILLEN front fascia along with the new released brake cooling package.

http://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/...45761336_n.jpg
the fitment of the STILLEN front was excellent as expected - we only had to cut out the holes for the headlamp water nozzles which are mandatory in Germany for XENON equipped cars.

http://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/...11157447_n.jpg
here you see the full line of cooling starting with the brake air inducts, PS cooler, air inlet for the STILLEN Gen3, MOCAL oil cooler and behind is the STILLEN transmission cooler (not visible).

http://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/...63707179_n.jpg
the routing of the brake cooling hoses is perfect and directs the air exactly towards the brake discs - cant wait to see the difference on the track.

stay tuned for more pics soon when the race mesh is installed !

very nice set up! Loving it.

Skorch 06-01-2012 01:10 AM

Looks great. I would kinda imagine it would look better with the stripe going all the way down instead of stopping at the hood line though

SPOHN 06-02-2012 01:52 PM

Looks great. Any plans to add mesh in the grill opening?

JWMotoring 06-02-2012 01:57 PM

I like the way that looks. Great mod!

G37sHKS 06-02-2012 02:23 PM

The sexiest bumper for 370z IMO

Very nice setup!

Z eliminator 06-04-2012 07:24 AM

does stillen sell the mesh for the bumper ?

TypeOne 06-04-2012 12:11 PM

I didn't care for this bumper until now. It looks quite good on your car.

TenaciousZ 06-04-2012 12:50 PM

Love the bumper. Car looks mean.

Any chance you can post a picture of the side of the car?

Curious how the bumper flows with the side view.

ChrisUR 06-05-2012 05:13 AM

I have ordered the mesh from STILLEN and it will be installed soon, left it off for now as I intend to do the strips on the front and some mat black inside the big opening.

As soon as the car is completely finished with stripes and mesh I will post more better pictures also from the side ;)

What are you planning to go with for the rear as far as aero? I'm seriously thinking of going the Stillen route for the simple fact that it's urethane and a fraction of the cost of the only other urethane option (Nismo).

kenchan 06-05-2012 08:40 PM

Narrow garage...

2ndChance 06-05-2012 09:46 PM

Looks awesome!! I only wish it came in one piece...

axio 06-05-2012 11:52 PM

Looks really good IMO. I wonder if it'll clear a GTM Supercharger kit's intercooler and oil cooler.... Hmmmmmm...

oleg 06-09-2012 02:42 PM

Glad to see yours fit well, but watch out guys, I have this bumper and the fitment on mine is awful. There is a very large gap by my left headlight. Even though the bumper looks great that gap really bothers me, ill post a pic of it a little later tonight.

Maybe a little hard to see but the gap is big enough to stick my finger in there. Never even bothered to contact stillen about it since it would cost me most likely about another $400 to get a new one put on, simply isn't worth it.

Gungrave 06-09-2012 07:21 PM

Nice! I'm still kinda iffy if I want it or not. I like it, but I real want to see it in person. Anyone in the Tampa, FL area have it installed on their Z?

MattP725 06-09-2012 08:25 PM

Ugh I hate that they use orange ducting... the only reason that I haven't already ordered the kit. I know it is barely visible but it still bothers me.

I don't think anyone has made a replica of it.

I saw this same gap on the Stillen's Red 370Z "mule" at their facility in Southern California. While the bumper is beautiful at a distance, I am a stickler for the small details. The fitment was not good on the Stillen car all around both headlights and the nose of the hood as well.

Can you show some detailed photos of the rest of the fitment around the nose of the car?

Thanks and regardless of the gap, your car looks awesome. Now that the brake cooling kit is out, I may reconsider the bumper again. It is the only one that I have considered.

tibal 06-11-2012 03:56 PM

Not usually a big fan of this front without a huge IC, but I am feelin the way it is looks on your car. Soo aggressive! MEAN!

SPOHN 06-11-2012 04:10 PM

Thinking of ordering this front clip now.

corbin09 06-11-2012 04:55 PM

Oleg that fitment is horrible. I would def ask for a full refund.

Mike 06-11-2012 07:37 PM

I had the first production one. Like their red car, it had a dimple in the front part and fitment on the drivers side was a little off. I have subsequently replaced it with a newer one, last september due to grinding the bottom off from being too low on the track, and fitment is much much better now.

UNKNOWN_370 06-12-2012 03:08 AM

The front center of this kit is perfection. The side vents look ridiculous. Instead of gaping vents, it should have been more subtle slots. In the pics, it looks like the car is black and the bumper is grey. Is it unpainted or was it hard to get a match? I would hate to have a front bumper with improper fitment. Is it only the headlight? The hood and top bumper don't look very well aligned either.

The rest of the bumper fits perfectly, that's the only problem I have with it even though its kind of a huge gap on my car you can't really tell unless u get up close because of it being black. I just wish their website would of mentioned something about this before i ordered the product.

ChrisUR 06-13-2012 05:36 AM

my car currently is with the wrapping guys for adding the red stripes - as soon as I get it back (hopefully tomorrow) I will make more and better pictures also with detailed pics around the headlights.

From my point of view the fitment is very very good - havent experienced the problems you describe.

For the orange pipes, those will not be visible after I added the supplied front mesh.
