Suggestions

A few suggestions....

First, contact the Nissan area manager. They often handle things better than an individual dealer.

Second, see if you can get a lawyer to write a nasty letter. The letter alone--with appropriate threat of lawsuit or whatever the lawyer thinks is right--might do the trick.

Finally, or instead of #2, file in small claims court for the filing limit--whatever it is in your state. You won't get all your $8000 back, but then again you don't need it all back.

Good luck. Your story gets me mad every time I think of it. I'm with you, bro.

Sometimes that's what it takes. I bought an Integra the week they hit the US shores. Two weeks later, got rear-ended. Aside from no parts being availabe, body shop did a crappy job since it was obviously the first one they had ever worked on. 10 months and $24,000 later (including the Integra loaner I got), it was back to new. Original car was like $16,000.They should have just totaled it.

James take all the pictures, all the documents, write down the dates and time of every conversation you have had with these people and take it to a lawyer. Dude i know any of them would jump on the opportunity of working with you on this case. Again man i know its your car and all but keep your cool. Believe it or not this whole issue is effecting your whole life, including your family and if you have kids as well, man they can pick that up and its not a good look at all. Its not worth it man. Get a lawyer, and take a seat back and see how they react. Again man, good luck and let us know if we can help out in any way!
